Machine Love: This is the name of the primary program of AURA, a scientific experiment in Neuroacoustic Research: The therapeutically healing of the Body, Heart, Mind through the Scientific Application of Sound, a process  commonly  known as Brainwave Synchronization. ​​Through this process, we hope to create a stress free environment for astronauts, who continuously work in dangerous environments of space. Summer 2013 will see the release of Behind, a brand new album by youAND:THEMACHINES aka Martin Müller - one half of youANDme - on the Ornaments imprint. As youANDME the pair have seen plenty of success with releases on labels like Cocoon, Rekids and Deeplabs. Their last mix-cd was hailed as one of the best of the year by DE:BUG and between them they have officially remixed influential artists like Moodymann, Seth Troxler, Radio Slave or Lawrence.

As is usually the case for this vinyl-loving outfit, the Behind album has a limited to 333 copies hand-painted cover edition with unique artwork and a stamped number, and features vocal collaborations with seminal artists like Robert Owens, Brothers' Vibe, Delhia de France, Bajka and Keter Darker as well as instrumental contributions from Olga Kholodnaia who plays strings, Martin Kohlstedt who plays Rhodes and e-piano and solina strings from The Analog Roland Orchestra man, Michal Matlak.

Behind is Martin's long player debut on Ornaments and is an album that brings together his wide array of influences -- dub techno, ambient, Detroit techno, house, but also encompasses plenty of analogue hardware, field recordings and hidden messages. The aim when writing the album was to use no samples and instead craft every sound himself.

Some of the equipment used through the album to lend it such a unique sonic signature includes Waldorf Microwave, Moog Voyager, Roland TR909, 808, 707, Alpha Juno and some MFB drumboxes amongst others. "The aim was to take these old instruments and combine them with modern techniques from 2013," says Martin. "I wanted to make music that doesn't loose the old spirit of yesteryear."

The results make for an album that doesn't follow trends but instead comes from deep inside the mind of the producer who made it. Inspired and influenced by more than 15 years of listening to electronic music, it is a truly cross genre work.

From the grainy dubwise ambiance of opener "Entrance" to the deep and lush techno of "Perception" and on through more intense and sinewy cuts like "Domain Specific" and the blissful, beatless, string laced excursion that is this is "Desire", this is a record with lots of narrative; an album that really takes you somewhere. plenty of extra character also comes from the respective collaborators who each have their own distinctive voices, making Behind a truly captivating work of art.

Mindspring Music Present: State Azure - Hex EP [MSM011]

State Azure makes his debut Mindspring appearance with a melodic & progressive release, with wonderfully glitchy elements and deep ambiance. Hex swirls with pads and twinkling keys, while its subterranean bass pulls you in, a very hypnotic and eveloving tune. Twin Shape is first up on remix duties, slowing things down and putting a Psychill spin on the original. Magnus is up next, raising the energy levels with his signature Psytrance style - never losing the gorgeous feel that Hex exudes. Transmission is on the B-Side and keeps the EP flowing in the same sort of channel. Much more on the glitchy side with its percussion and sweet little psychedelic stabs, it features the same sort of breathtaking swells and bright plucks. The atmosphere morphs and shimmers beautifully, while the low-end rolls ever forward. Condensspur has chosen to focus on the ambient elements of Transmission and created an elongated intro with wonderful additions, such as guitar, in his remix - A great bookend to this well crafted EP.

Welcome to the International Space Station Radio, AKA Robot Radio. (ISSRadio.live)

NASA's Artificial Intelligent Program aboard the International Space Station (ISS) is a therapeutic experiment in Neuro-Acoustic Research intended to reduce stress on astronauts working in the dangerous environments of space.​​

In this process, select musical tones and dynamic vibrations are transmitted across binaural frequencies simultaneously, through the human brainwaves. The theoretical intention is to provide psychological healing below the threshold of conscious perception. Therefore, this program has been adequately named, Machine Love.

Communications from the ISS Radio to Earth are carried out via Ham Radio, aka iRobot Radio, which is located aboard the Zvezda Module.
