The Church of the Old Blood used to be the main point of worship and leadership for the village where they worshipped [what they thought was] the Blood of Lorkhan, but since the Blood stopped flowing from the roots (aka: the big Hist tree got too old to make new sap) the church has fallen into decay. It now has one very paranoid priestess and one very overworked acolyte. I wanted to mix more traditional gregorian elements an old chant from the medieval period is used) with elements from the hist and hints of the other composer, DanVictory's Hist boss theme sprinkled in. Hope you enjoy!

Hey everyone!
Long time, no listen.

As some of you may know, I started working on my EP about 2 weeks ago and I actually more or less finished it, but I was very unhappy with the result. 
It felt very rushed and I didnt feel any sort of connection with the tracks I made anymore.
Situations like these are really difficult for me, since I just want to give in to my "perfectionistic" side, delete it all and start over with the EP and take my time until it's "perfect"...
But not only is this an unattainable goal (and also just my insecurities hiding behind "perfectionism"), I also know it's not a good way of handling things in terms of the business side of music.
I know I should release music very often, without thinking about it too much.

So what do I do? 
I knew I'd have to find a solution somewhere in the middle.

So I decided to regularly release music in a "single" way (without thinking too much about it and approaching it in a more "quantity vs. perfect" type of way), while working on my EP from scratch and giving myself more time for it.

The two tracks I'm releasing today are actually tracks that started out being ideas for the EP, but I was very unsure about them, I acutally still am, but I know, I need to get over my insecurities because in the end, no one cares even remotely as much as I do about my music.

Anyways, hope you still find these tracks entertaining. Will see you very soon with more music and at some point in the close future, with my EP :)
