Ultimae proudly presents the new album by Cell called "Onwards System" ; a dazzling call drawn from experience. Ambient by nature, it is the latest portent of a certain musically crafted world of emotions and sensations. French composer Alexandre Scheffer unbars a marvel of intricate yet minimalist and elemental compositions. 
Through the 10 chapter story, the artist intertwines layers of subdued downtempo within crispy electronics, reaching out beyond genre boundaries with unfathomable talent.

When swedish artist Solar Fields (Magnus Birgersson) meets french artist AES Dana (Vincent Villuis)...the outcome is H.U.V.A. Network, a downtempo project where North and South regions mix and jumble together in a fluid manner. 

The pair of sound architects explore ambient-electronica landscapesand their multiple layouts.The album was thought out and composed in two studios : 
- Studio Jupiter (Göteborg - Sweden) 
- Ultimae Studio (Lyon - France) 
Musical works and ideas were conceived in this two creation poles via a few travels and a high speed internet network connection, thus breaking [ Distances ] which separate the two composers. 

6 months of composition, 2 weeks of mixing and a week of mastering with Huby Sea, were necessary to give form to this outstanding encounter album.

Distances

The spiritual theme of the album continues here, with a spoken word sample encouraging us to ‘seek the light’. Glassy keyboard melodies provide a peaceful feeling as does the etheric flute. The drum sounds and programming remain snappy and upfront, providing a delicious contrast to the pads and flute.
