Nightmares

	It started with a haze.. and I was standing in my living room. The lighting was dim, and even though I was inside, there seemed to be a fog. The corners of the room were dark, the furniture looked old and worn out, and the room was very dirty. There was trash all over the coffee table, and empty beer cans and smoked roaches and empty pill bottles around the room. I felt like something was very wrong.
	I felt like there were people worried about me, about why I was in this place all alone. I remember them calling me, trying to get a hold of me, with no success. I remember fading in and out, and I remember talking to them on the phone and telling them everything was fine.
	Then I remember being in contact with my girlfriend, she was concerned about me, and she said she was coming over. I remember telling her not to, and all of the sudden, she was there. Only..
She was behind me, and she was on her knees facing the door. I began to cry because I realized she was trapped.. she couldn’t open the door, but she wasn’t even trying. I reached towards her and grabbed her shoulder to turn her around.
	When she was turned towards me, I couldn’t see her face, it was blank, or, it was white noise, it was an abyss, it was dead, but it was not there. I knew she was stuck in here with me, forever… and it was all my fault.

I was in my bedroom, and I was trying to get up. There was a dark figure standing next to my bed. I remember needing to get up, because I was going to be late to work. I was feeling hungry, and thirsty. But I didn’t want to look at the dark figure so I kept looking away. I remember hearing it call my name, but it was so faint.
	It repeated a  long drone over and over, it was like a deep groaning, but it was my name. I felt paralyzed. I wanted to reach out and strike the figure but I felt so weak. Nothing was working.
	Suddenly I was up, and I tried to walk out of my room but there was something behind me, and every time I turned around I I heard its groaning noise again. It wanted me to follow it..
	I couldn’t leave the room because I felt it pulling me back, but it wasn’t actually touching me. Suddenly its groan got even louder as it was standing right behind me looking down at me. I tried to swing and break free from its pull but I couldn’t move, I felt like I was in quicksand. I looked down and It was on the ground pulling me under the bed, with my legs in its mouth. It was eating me alive.
