Unser Freund Manolis, Glitterboi hat in Anlehnung an die goldenen zwanziger Jahre – nach eigenen Aussagen – bereits vor zwei Jahren die Glitzerzwanziger eingeläutet. Nebst seiner Vorliebe für Baguettes und ausgefallene Outfits, hat er mit einigen anderen unlängst eine Veranstaltung aus allem, was wir mit den Zwanzigerjahren in Paris verbinden, gemacht: La Bohème ist verrucht, viel zu schick und hatten einen starken französischen Accent. Alles andere bleibt vorerst geheim. Aber die Crew dahinter will ganz bald schon von sich hören lassen. Uh lala – tres passionnant.

She has written down some of her own words to describe the inspiration behind this mix: 
As an artist, I find my passion in merging music with my voice to tell a story.
Writing and singing allow me to connect deeply with myself, turning feelings into something universal. 
For me it’s a way of sharing a piece of my inner world. 
By adding my own vocals to existing tracks I’m able to recreate music in a way that feels entirely new, turning them into a personal reinterpretation. 
This Podcast is a personal journey which represents more than just sound that i love - it’s also a part of me.

As a DJ, engineer, producer and designer, Rike aka A N U A G E is a fighter on all levels, in all genres. Through music, she has begun to process the challenges that have been thrown at her. It has given her the strength to soldier on. She has fought her way through countless strokes of fate and used her music to free herself from everything that tried to push her to the ground. That's why we find incredible energy, hope and an extreme will to survive in every one of her sets and productions.
There are no boundaries. Rike draws from all boxes, blurring any borders and layering musical elements to create a new kind of energy to her heart's content. She shares this energy with everyone to give them the strength and support she needed for herself. In doing so, she creates a space of hope, a way to escape and takes people with her to switch off completely, listen to themselves and block out everyday life.
She awakens the fighting spirit and the warrior in all of us.

We all know this moment, you are lying in bed with a loved one and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

For Cuddle Cast #31 we asked @dlozada-1 from Costa Rica to record a set for us and she created a journey through organic downtempo, ambient bass, and tropical slow house. With long transitions and tender layering, she weaves moods that invite deep feeling, connection, and a soft return to love. 

So grab your special person, get cosy, press play and be ready to let the love birds fly.

Cuddle Cast # 31 - La Dj

Perhaps the most memorable show I’ve played so far.. Conditions were perfect.
The sun was setting, the energy rising, and everyone there dancing with me. 

After a tireless few months of writing a whole new live set it felt so right to premiere at such a prime slot. Thanks to Dan and the whole Shipwrecked fam for having me!

What a time! What a weekend! What a festival! If you were there, you know what I’m talking about. Shipwrecked Festival this year was truly something else!

The weekend was buzzing from start to end. It was a true privilege to kickstart kickstart Sunday’s journey on what was an incredible lineup.

Thank you to everyone on the dance floor for your open hearts, and to all the amazing humans who made the festival so special.

Massive thanks as well to Logan Baker for trusting me with this slot, and for bringing such a talented and inspiring community of creatives together.

FELIDAE die kleene süße aus dem Nachbarhaus, die mit dem süßen kleinen Hund über den Hof schlendert und mit einem verschmitzten Lächeln den Müll wegbringt. So könnte man sie sich zurecht vorstellen, und doch ist sie viel mehr als nur das. Mit ihrer frechen aber stets ehrlichen und lockeren Berliner Art hat sie nicht nur die Bewohner ihres Hauses auf ihrer Seite, nein, auch die gesamte Clubszene in Berlin. Was sie nicht nur ihrer feinen und zugänglichen Art zu verdanken hat, sondern auch ihrem Talent und besonderem Gespür für Musik. Ihre Sets sind fordernd und zum tanzen animierend, womit sie sich auf direkten Wege in die Herzen der   Clubbesucher spielt, und die Mischung zwischen Techno und treibenden Techhouse trifft genau ins Schwarze und wird zudem knackig und ohne Kompromiss in Szene gesetzt. 
So süß und klein wie sie auch sein mag, ihre Musik ist es definitiv nicht und das ist auch gut so.
