Cardiac project was born in march 2007 from the joining of different heavy psychedelic/stoner rock and drum 'n bass musicicians of the east side of Verona province. Betty – voice (founder of Cardiac ex Animali sociali, OL3, Underground Frogs ), Bobstoner – bass (founder of Cardiac, ex Hieronimous, Fluidher, Superfuck, Furtiva and Underground Frogs ), Mark Berry – guitars ( founder of Cardiac, ex Hieronimous), MinO))) – drums ( ex Arcipelaghi Diversi, Underground Frogs). The passion for the Sonic Youth noise, the mystic lyrics of Dead can Dance and Cocteau Twins, the pressing rythmics of Killing Joke, the psychedelia of Isis and Callisto, the progressive rock of Anedocten and Porcupine Tree...all these features have contributed to the evolution of Cardiac sound. An hybrid of psychedelia, new wave, progressive and post punk with an ethereal female voice that strikes positively and create the boundaries of an emotional and charming music, full of black and white images, stressing and relaxing shamanic moments. The lyrics talk about spirituality, religion, the human condition and the surviving to world dieseases (they love Celtism and Norma Jean , they feel in someway very close to Christian core mentality). Lyrics are in motherlanguage with chunks and slogans in French, Tzimbar (ancient German language of Lessinian Mountains and Asiago Highland in Veneto), English and ancient Elvish (imaginary language of the Elve).
