This is a story about alcoholism, loneliness and a man who wanted full control. A dangerous situation which also involved her children. This is Katheryn's story, a story that teaches us how, sometimes, a helpful hand of a professional is what one needs to find the power to take control of your life again!

I traveled to Paris alone during this Christmas holiday in January. It was the fourth day I’ve been here and it was drizzling. I planned to grab a breakfast alone as usual and I picked a small cafe with the new york style. When I sat down, a small lovely kitten jumped onto the seat opposite to me. She curled up like a black and white ball, with little lazy and loftiness. I didn’t remember her name as the host called her in French. She didn’t like people touching her but liked touching the salt grinder on your table, playing with you. She colored my lonely journey and softened my heart.
