The Reissue Project clothing range has been designed by le coq sportif exclusively for Future Classic – delving into their extensive street and sports wear archives - from the 80s through to the early 90s - to develop six new designs inspired by both the heritage of the brand and clubs of today.

In return, Future Classic, who boast the likes of Flume, Chet Faker, Flight Facilities and more on the roster, has reissued tracks from their own archives, bringing them up to date with new remixes available exclusively via this collaboration.

Christian Tiger School has spent the last few years captivating South Africa with their Electronic, Hip-Hop vibes.  Hailing from Cape Town, Luc Veermeer and Sebastiano Zanasi quickly became artists to watch with their LA Beat Scene inspired tracks. 
 
2015 is set to be a big year for the duo, recently signing to Tommy Boy Entertainment, Christian Tiger School are set to drop their album, “Chrome Tapes”, on June 16th. 
 
“Cinderella Rocafella”, the 2nd single off of the album, is all you need to hear to get a taste of the Christian Tiger School vibe.  Dark synthetic soundscapes transform throughout the track taking the listener on a musical journey down the road less followed.  Truly in a lane of their own, Christian Tiger School transforms raw emotion into a dreamy layer of sound.

This project is inspired by a card taken from Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt’s Oblique Strategies that reads “Gardening, Not Architecture”. I want the series' theme to be creative empowerment. While exploring the different sides of my music self - the film scoring, the DJing, and the original production, my main goal is to have people walk away feeling inspired to create.

Since becoming online friends with him a few years back, supporting him on radio & him playing our club night in Bristol it was a natural progression to release his music. "One Day" is a stunning EP, Three strong tracks showcasing Ted's depth & texture, his ability to twist an ambient house sound with Pan African influence & beautiful chord progression sets him apart as one to watch. My Voices

Born and raised in South London, Hector Plimmer is a multi-faceted producer, composer and DJ whose sound is drenched in tribal rhythms and beautifully crafted bass. Influenced by beat-makers like Flying Lotus and Theo Parrish, but with the subtleties of the classic Metalheadz era drum and bass, his second album 'Next To Nothing' is released on 25th October 2019. The album features guests Ego Ella May, Emma-Jean Thackray, Pie Eye Collective, Alexa Harley; and Andrew Ashong who guests on new single ‘Somebody Else’.

After featuring on Brownswood Bubblers 11, curated by Gilles Peterson, Hector proved his talent when he was selected as a winner of the PRS Steve Reid InNOVAtion award.  At a performance at ‘Sounds Of The Universe’ Record store, Hector caught the attention of Albert's Favourites' label heads Adam Scrimshire & Dave Koor. A conversation was started which led to the transfer of almost a whole album's worth of material and resulted in his debut full length record ‘Sunshine’. 

'Sunshine' was met with rapturous acclaim. The record went on to be awarded Gilles Peterson’s album of the week on his BBC 6 Music show and was championed by both Lauren Laverne and Tom Ravenscroft on the station as well as Jamie Cullum on BBC Radio 2. Its success on the airwaves transcended to streaming with the inclusion in the top 50 viral US chart on Spotify.

"This album has been a real labour of love. I spent the most part of a year trying to make music I thought would be fitting to follow my last album, whilst not actually knowing what that might sound like. 'Sunshine' had been received way more positively than I had anticipated and although praise is a lovely thing, it was the cause of much anxiety when the time came to start on this record. I put a lot of pressure on myself to produce music and kept going down routes that felt forced or just didn’t click for me, in hindsight I realise this was me making music not for myself, but for what I imagined other people might want to hear. In a way 'Next to Nothing' is my first real album, 'Sunshine' was more like a collection of four to five years worth of music compiled into the shape of one. This is my first dedicated attempt at creating a cohesive project, something that shows who I am right now and what got me here."

As a DJ Hector has a monthly slot on NTS radio. He has played alongside the likes of Gilles Peterson, Kutmah, Alexander Nut, MNDSGN, Onra, Dego, Kaidi, Max Graef & Glenn Astro; Hector finds himself in the good company of those talented selectors who play genres across the spectrum of Hip-hop, Beats, Funk, Soul, Disco, Afro-beat, House and Jazz.

The brainchild of Cape Town based jazz musician Shane Cooper, Card On Spokes is a live electronic music project that might best be described by one of his lyrics: “the dance of things to come”. 
Taking influence from hip hop to house music, and subtle colours from his jazz roots, he has crafted a unique style that is constantly evolving. 

CoS has seen rapid success in the last few years, reaching a #1 on YFM, getting airplay on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 6, as well as support from Gilles Peterson, and Boiler Room debuts.  
His live performance on the Cape Town Allstars edition of Boiler Room in 2016 set the tone for his latest EP 'As We Surface' which dropped in September 2016 to critical acclaim.  

As a live electronic act, CoS incorporates keys, electric bass, and controllers, often flexing out into psychedelic bass solo frontiers, atop a bed of heaving dancefloor-centric beats.  
He has performed all over South Africa and abroad, and has shared the stage with  Little Dragon, Daedelus, Young Fathers, Clap! Clap! and more. 

Shane Cooper is known as one of the most progressive young jazz artists and double bassists in South Africa, having won the SAMA (South African MusicAward) in 2014 for Best Jazz Album, and performing and/or recording with artists like Lionel Loueke (Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper), Nils Berg (The Stoner), Soweto Kinch, The Kyle Shepherd Trio, Skyjack, Talvin Singh (Bjork), Malcolm Braff (Blue Note), and more.  

His willingness to explore multiple musical landscapes within his recordings as  Card On Spokes has become his very identity, drawing from his experiences as a double bassist and pulling them into a music made for the dancefloor.
