We don't know when we met Moris - we call him JR - but it must be at a party, or more likely at an after party. If you never met him, you can easily meet the bear-sized young man behind the turntables of an afterparty, playing funky records you never heard of. Although the young JR is "sympa sans plus", he became one of our friends, don't ask us how or why, we don't know. He is the type of guy who comes to the party thinking of what should be in the "baaaag" for the afterparty. This podcast is a quick dive in Moris' current record bag: a fine blend of tech house, synth pop, and electro funk.

Charch is currently based in Tallinn, Estonia, where he immersed himself in vinyl culture and embraced the art of being a vinyl-only DJ. His frequent visits to record stores led to the establishment of his own store, Biit Me Riga, in 2019 (www.biit.me/biit-me-riga-record-store/).
 
With his mix for us we have the pleasure to share his musical passion. Within the last years Charch’s DJ sets are characterized by a selection remaining versatile, possing a distinct character that sets him apart behind the decks.

A label utterly dedicated to its pursuit of showcasing quality electronic music that consistently, for the best part of 10 years, has stayed true to its roots pushing high-quality electronic music. For his Soft Spot, Giovanni takes us on a trip down memory lane, sharing music from 'London memories' and recounting stories that have stood out along the way.
