On Sunday 8th November 2020 I tasked myself with writing, recording, producing and mixing a song in a day. This is what I made. 

I’m here again
In the waiting room
There’s bleach in the air
A lifetime wouldn’t be too soon
To feel this paralysis
Masked in the face of loneliness and lifeless hues
I stare down a two-way door
On hinges sprung by medicine and life support

I’ll wait here for you

I’m restlessly penned
Between plastic cups and cigarettes
There’s no space for rest
In the swirling haze of cycling tones and vast regrets

I’ll wait here for good news
We’ve got to be due some soon
I see people everyday whose dreams aren’t  very far away
It’s strange
But 'til then
I’ll wait here for you
