A 3 hour, 33 minute and 33 second journey of tracks that resonate with me on a deeper level. I thoroughly enjoy traversing different genres to create magical moments and a special energy to help tell a story with my music. This mix will allow you to venture through a variety of styles and sounds from a selection of my favourite international and local artists across the deep house, melodic techno and tribal spectrum.
 
I don’t often get the opportunity to create these extended experiences at clubs to really express myself, so when Flow Music called, I had to say yes.

It’s about time we delivered another edition in the Podcast series. And to kick of the next run we firstly say a warm welcome to London, as this Melbourne based artist has made the switch to the big smoke and we’re sure to make just as big an impact has she has done down under!

With over a decade of involvement in the music scene as a DJ, Carina Lawrence has made her mark at many late-night institutions both in Melbourne and internationally. It is in these darkly lit club-rooms, belting out the best of beats, that she shines brightest. Her signature sound is an infusion of genres. Her diverse tastes traverse effortlessly through various elements of techno, house and progressive. Revellers can expect a symphony of melodic moments, soulful tribal grooves and eclectic
 influences emanating from the system while she plays. One look at her in the booth reveals the concentration and attention to detail that she has become famous for. No ego, just good tunes, on-point mixing and a mood and energy in the room second to none. Before a move to London, Carina had firmly cemented her place in the Melbourne clubbing scene, holding residencies at the likes of Onesixone and Pawn & Co, and making regular guest appearances at Revolver, Circus and more. On the event circuit, Carina performed for Thick As Thieves, whilst also earning support duties for the Defected Australasia Tour and playing alongside top international touring artists including WAFF, Lovebirds and Rebuke. 2021 brings new and exciting musical opportunities with a number of her own original releases on the horizon via her new 'Otherhalf' project.

Producer and DJ Carina Lawrence is laying down the law in the underground electronic music space. Based in London, the Melbourne born artist has taken it in her stride to serve up crowds across the map with a barrage of house music in all its finest forms.
Having tapped into some of the world’s most loved and iconic clubs, festivals and events, while releasing stellar tunes to fire up charts and giving a taste of her flavour with ‘Down Underground’ on Bloop Radio London, it’s without a doubt an exciting journey that’s evolving.
Curating a dynamic recipe of melodic house and techno in the studio and taking it to the floors with a fusion of progressive and Afro-house hues, there is no denying the path for Carina is well paved. Revelers can expect a symphony of melodic moments, soulful tribal grooves and eclectic influences emanating from the system while she plays and one look at her in the booth reveals the concentration and attention to detail that she has become famous for. No ego, just good tunes, on-point mixing and a mood and energy in the room second to none.
Carina’s love of diverse sounds is encapsulated in her debut release alongside her partner under their new project Otherhalf. Their track ‘Ancestral’ featured on Australian label Ugenius’ VA ‘Cavalry 007’ in September 2022. Peaking at #3 on Beatport’s Progressive House Releases and #10 on the Melodic House & Techno Release charts, the VA took music enthusiasts to another place, while ‘Ancestral’ held the #38 spot on the Hype Melodic House & Techno charts. 
On the show circuit, Carina has ticked boxes. From Melbourne’s famed Revolver, to Onesixone, and festivals like Rainbow Serpent, Stereosonic and Future Music Festival. In her new hometown of London, soon she'll be gracing the decks at Printworks and has already played at Egg London, E1 and The Steelyard. With appearances at clubs in Tel Aviv, Hvar, Bali and Mykonos’ Paradise Club, the music she’s delivering is causing a stir globally.
Locally, Carina has also joined forces with some of the top music event curators that the city has to offer, playing for Free From Sleep and Parable, where she’s been on support for international acts including Spencer Brown, Lauren Mia, Dominik Eulberg, Joachim Pastor and Joris Delacroix.
The last decade has seen her break boundaries in electronic music, perfecting the art of sincere, honest and passionate dance floor delivery.

Carina Lawrence is a Melbourne-born DJ and producer now based in London, where she has become a steady presence in the city’s underground electronic scene. Her sets draw on melodic elements, tribal-leaning rhythms, and a wide range of influences, shaped by a careful and considered approach to building atmosphere.

Her debut solo release, No Quit, on Mobilee’s Zoom Vol.1 received support from established names including Sasha, John Digweed, and Yotto, while her follow-up EP, Love Language, on TalkTalk Records reached the top ten of Beatport’s indie dance Hype chart shortly after its release. With upcoming shows that include a slot at Balance Croatia in 2026, she continues to develop her sound and presence on dance floors in the UK and beyond.

Carina Lawrence, a Melbourne-born DJ and producer, is a rising star in the in the London underground electronic music scene where she has fast earned a reputation as a top selector with her captivating sets.

Her performances are a symphony of melodic moments, soulful tribal grooves, and eclectic sonic influences, each one drawing revellers deeper into the music. With every beat, her focus and meticulous attention to detail shine through. Carina’s deep appreciation for diverse soundscapes came to life in her debut solo release 'No Quit' on @mobileerecords Zoom Vol.1 compilation. The record gained support from some pioneers of the music industry including Sasha, John Digweed and Yotto. Her follow up release came as a 4-track EP 'Love Language' on @talktalk-records (a sub label of @bar25 ). The EP jumped into 9th spot on the Hype release indie dance chart on Beatport only days after it came out. 

Not one to be bound by the confines of genre, her sets are a masterful fusion of diverse soundscapes, earning her acclaim among top London promoters like Parable, Free From Sleep, LWE and Broadwick Live. Having already shared the bill alongside top-tier talent, Carina has been making her mark on global audiences. She has directly supported Jimi Jules, Trikk, Joris Voorn, Nora En Pure and Patrice Baumel during their UK shows and has shared the lineup with the likes of Carlita, Adriatique, Yotto, Dosem, Guy J, Jody Wisternoff, Henri Bergman and many more.

She has performed at iconic venues globally like Printworks, Drumsheds, Fabric, and E1, The Sanctuary Rome and has recently, been seen on the UK/European Festival circuit at Anjunadeep Explorations, Secret Garden Party and Junction 2.
