so i guess this might need at least a little bit of explanation.

hidden palace zone was a scrapped level from sonic 2.  it would later appear with a fresh redesign in sonic and knuckles, but an incomplete version of the hidden palace zone still existed on a recovered beta cartridge.

there's also, y'know, debate as to whether or not this song is attributed to the hidden palace stage.  in the beta, it plays the mystic cave multiplayer music, but many people believe sound test 10 on the final cartridge was meant for this zone.

in any case, here's my remix of "Sound Test 10!"  :P  i purchased Shreddage II SRP and screwed around with it until this song came to life, and i'm pretty happy with the end result.  you'll probably be hearing more fake guitar garbage from me in the future!

NPC - Hidden Palace Zone (Sonic 2 Beta Remix)

Little backstory with this one - I ended up making this around the time I did the Mes Volutes Bleues cover, to try out some romplers and sample CDs I hadn't really got to use yet. Felt now would be an apt time to upload this to share it instead of letting it just sit away on my computer. :)

Go buy Sonic Mania! Seriously one of the best Sonic games to ever come out. Fantastic throughout.

Launch Base Zone

My second attempt at a Sonic mash-up between two zones.  I attempted to combine GHZ and EHZ's melody with mainly GHZ backing.  I prefer my Return to Hidden Palace mash-up (which is also on my Soundcloud stream!  Wink! ;) )but this turned out a'ight i guess.

I was feeling a bit meh when i made this so i thought, "it's been a while since i made some music..."

(Made using FL Studio) Hey, y'all, your boy has finally graduated from High School, and is back on the channel! This is a re-work of my very first Sonic Generations remix. Version 1 I did pretty sloppy on, but I promise y'all I will make some of my own compositions and remixes and not reupload any other content. (Thanks for the reminder, CarJem Generations!) To sum it all up, I'm back, my remixes are back, y'all are back, and that's all that matters. Hope you like it!

Sonic Generations - Mirage Saloon Classic RMX

Weow, this one should sound very familiar very fast!

Lost Levels are a tribute to all the canned or otherwise 'lost' levels from the original Mega Drive games. The Mystic Cave 2 Player music is notable in that it's related to a lot of these missing links within Sonic 2. Before the Sequel originally featured the original MC2P music along with an ice remix by Ristar@Andy Tunstall, which flipped on the fly depending on where you were in the level. This new version's Fire side was recorded by him (hence credit where credit is due plz), and the Ice side was sequenced by me based on his ideas. Confusing, eh?

Anyway Ristar is a cool guy and doesn't afraid of anything. He's also done the music for Fortress Flow zone. Check out his Soundcloud page for this - http://soundcloud.com/tunners

Shout out to all of you Smash Bros. fans and music lovers alike!  Let's all get pumped for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with this upbeat remix of the GameXplain Discussion Theme!  Featuring in GameXplain discussions relating to the title, this composition is one of the most ambitious songs in GameXplain's official music collection.  Originally pitched by one of our very own GameXplain Patrons on the Discord server, the concept came into fruition after much experimentation.

While the orchestral piece consists of mostly of classical instruments, a daring rock-seasoned section serves as its apex.  This also is the first remix from me to arrange the middle portion of the source material.  Starting in 4/4 time and ending with a coda in 6/8 time, you may relish the dynamics of this theme inspired by the Super Smash Bros. series.  Have a Smashing good time listening to the results!

With the release of Revenge's official acapella, I thought I'd come back and use Finn M-K's instrumental and create a cleaner version of his cover without the clutter of the original song's instrumental.
