Following on from the hotly-anticipated ‘Feel It’, and with the opening party for her summer-long residency at Ibiza’s world-renowned DC-10 drawing ever closer, the unstoppable Amelie Lens is back in action on her EXHALE imprint with the follow-up single ‘Radiance’. 

Just as you would expect, Amelie’s latest offering is another colossal dance floor grabber. Fusing several core elements that make her so appealing to not only the EXHALE but the whole electronic dance community, ‘Radiance’ is a symbiosis of thumping drums, blistering percussion, gritty acid-laced musicality and modulating soundscapes from start to finish.

With acclaimed releases on labels like Taapion, Etruria Beat, No Mercy, and Revised Records, Antwerp-based BYØRN has quickly solidified his presence as a rising star in the industry and is now ready for his debut on EXHALE with an explosive release.

Ragnarok EP features three tracks showcasing BYØRN's innovative fusion of styles and relentless drive. 'Ragnarok' starts the journey, an anthem with epic fantasy melodies and a cinematic break that envelop listeners in its energetic, thunderous vibe. The pace intensifies with 'Release Yourself', a deep dive into cinematic euphoria with resonating brass and angelic melodies. A climactic vocal invites you to "release yourself in the unknown" before a powerful drop showcases BYØRN's mastery of dynamic soundscapes, layered synths, and finely crafted transitions. Following his critically acclaimed album "Remember Why You Started", the album’s remix packs which featured legends like Ellen Allien, Slam, Thomas P. Heckmann and Boston 168 revisiting Regal’s creations and a bunch of reworks of legendary techno tracks, the Spanish techno master is back on track with an EP showcasing his dynamic range.

The opening track "Push It" kicks off with vibrant hard groove and Hi-NRG influences, reviving an iconic old-school vocal from 1986, masterfully integrating 80’s breaks and modern sound design with synth leads to capture the essence of a timeless hit. The title track "Not Another Summer“ follows with a deep, slowed vocal chop, setting a rich, compelling tone. The dynamic bassline and the rolling groove, punctuated by classic chord stabs, robotic sci-fi effects and interlaced vocal fragments, craft a lively, engaging dance experience.

The mood shifts in "2009 En El Desierto“, where an evolving bassline and a stomping kick drum lay the foundation for an old-school techno banger. Tribal bongos infuse a mystical layer, blending with a distinctively chopped vocal that harks back to the nostalgic beats of Spain's legendary Monegros Festival in 2009. "Snatch" closes up the EP with warmth and vibrancy. A stutter-effect female vocal melds into the groove, enhanced by futuristic suspense-building sound effects. The track’s evolving chord melody adds depth and excitement, providing a captivating conclusion to this EP, showcasing a more housy and groovy side of the Spanish techno icon.
