 We’re excited to share the debut release on the label from (ino)², a brand new DJ/producer trio made up of three heavyweight talents:

🇮🇹 DJ Marcellino (@djmarcellino) – A true veteran of the Italian club scene, with historic residencies including Cocoricò and Club Dei Nove Nove. 🇮🇹 Walterino (@walterbiasin) – Deep house specialist and co-creator of several international hits with a legacy in both underground and mainstream sounds. 🇮🇹 Keller (@keller_music_official) – Known for remixes of Moby, Bob Sinclar, and Frankie Knuckles, and currently resident at Blue Marlin Ibiza Mykonos.

Their first single, “It’s Your Lifestyle,” is a playful dance-pop track perfect for the summer season — cheeky, catchy, and Ibiza-ready ☀️💃

Young Irish-producer Rebūke continues his rapid ascent to the top with two original productions on Hot Creations, primed and ready for the dancefloor.

Rebūke recalls being worried that Along Came Polly may have been perceived as being “a bit too weird”, but once it caught the attention of Jamie Jones, there was no stopping it. He says that the hype surrounding this EP “is something I’ve never experienced before...and it always get a great reaction”.

On Along Came Polly, Rebūke showcases his innate ability to craft a weirdly, wonderful slice of techno. On the B-side, Rolo is a much housier affair, weaving together a bouncier bassline and sultry vocal stab.

The alias of Reuben Keeney, Rebūke, has only been in business for a short while, but his efforts have already proved to be fruitful. He has garnered support from the likes of Nic Fanciulli and released on labels including Saved and DFTD, as well as having a successful club night under his belt, where highly regarded names such as Camelphat, Darius Syrossian, Ejeca and Huxley have all played.

After teaming up with Jamie Jones to release ‘Rushing’ earlier this summer, Darius Syrossian returns to Defected for his latest musical output. ‘Come On Come On’ sees the DO NOT SLEEP resident flex his musical muscles by exploring a range of influences throughout, engineering the same soulful vocal sample to provide two genre-defying cuts. Opening with ‘Kouka’, a track that rumbles through with its intensified bass and tension building drops set to rock the most intense of sound-systems, while the vocal interlude at its centre adds diversity and intrigue. This is followed with the title track, where Darius delivers a dose of upbeat driving house, with a rubbery bouncing bassline and a chopped-up version of the vocal, delivering serious end-of-summer vibes. By exploring a number of avenues of sound with the same sample, ‘Come On Come On’ shows Darius’ breadth of musical knowledge, with a release that will keep a crowd on their toes.
