Carleed Khaza's name reverbrates in the hip hop community as one of its founding fathers. As one third of the critically acclaimed, yet underrated, KL hip hop legends 'Phlowtron', Carleed helped usher the birth of the hip hop movement in Kuala Lumpur alongside the likes of Too Phat, The Teh Tarik Crew and Poetic Ammo in the late 90's. The dawn of the new millennium saw Phlowtron's energy and enigmatic stage persona lent a sharp edge to local hip hop, quickly earning them reputations as eccentric performers and master showmen. They were also onto the cutting edge sounds of hip hop at the time, as showcased in their first album 'Hip Pop', hailed by the hip hop community as a visionary experience of acid jazz and rap. After 2 AIM nominations for 'Hip Pop', Phlowtron released their second album 'Warisan Senikata Malaya' which reaffirmed their underground cult following and promoted their appeal to the masses. As winners for Best Hip Hop Group VIMA 2008 award, Phlowtron landed another AIM nomination and was a nominee for Shout Award's inaugural Flava category in 2009. Phlowtron also has collaborated with the likes of Tata Young, Ella, Pop Shuvit, Sheikh Haikel, Terry Lee & Urban Xchange, Aman Shah and The Fabulous Cats in the past decade.

After a short hiatus to focus on his business ventures, the Phuture Phlow co-founder returns with 3 hot singles in the past year. 'Bara Wargakota' feat. Noh of Hujan, a banging rap-rock collaboration which became the anthem to the hit TV series, Projek Pop. Carleed also released 'Jika Ku Boleh Ubah Dunia', a song with a cause which showcased Malaysian street art in the music video. The video quickly went viral on YouTube and also featured then-to-be-wifey Natasha Hudson. Then came the Malaysian football team's unofficial anthem, 'Selamanya', an epic choir featuring Carleed alongside the Harimau Malaya Ultras Supporter's Club, Joe Flizzow and Altimet. Though the old Crazy Carleed remains an icon of local hip hop, he is truly reborn as Carleed Khaza, a stronger, more refined evolution of thoughts and rhyme, of music and melody, of pain and gain. And he's picking up right where he left off...
