"Harlem Breakdown" – the opening track from The Young Punx’ forthcoming 3rd album – is a fierce wall of funk guaranteed to get your stink face on.

In true 'Punx' style - mashing up genres and tearing up the production rule book – the act created this track by writing and performing their own take on the virtuoso horn-funk and jazz of 1970s New York. Performed by the punx and their regular live band, the music was recorded entirely on vintage 70s recording equipment for that authentic retro dirt. Then, back at base camp The Young Punx remixed and mashed up their own recording to build a filthy electro stomp like Daft Punk on Tequila and steroids.

'It started like any other day. Grey skies, the dim rumble of nine million Londoners rising sleeplessly from their beds.. The scent of expensive aftershave and clean hair as the subway fills with workers drinking train-station coffee on their way to Old Street.
Amongst the melee, one cosmic wanderer peers open an eye and watches the hoard scramble on and off the train. He smiles to himself and dons his sunglasses in preparation.

In the white heat of spontaneous combustion he settles back in his chair with a wry chuckle as the train breaks away from the tracks and launches spaceward..'

The album release date for Music Satisfaction is set for Valentines day February 14th 2015 via Quadrasonic Records. Its futuristic yet retrospective nod to classic Funk and P-Funk is unashamedly ahead of the game but also accessible to a wider audience with a very mainstream production style as its core backbone. 
 
Each track on this 12 tiered debut album is purposely designed to keep the listener eagerly engaged straight from the first bar. 
 
“Music Satisfaction” has its own unique identity but draws respectful influence from legends such as George Clinton, Brides Of Funkenstein, Sly And The Family Stone, Prince, ZAPP, Parliament, Bootsy Collins, James Brown, Ohio Players, Graham Central Station, Betty Davis and Cameo.
Its main motif was and always is to bring the old skool mighty good sound to the new frontiers of 2015 to an already Funk hungry public....

'Music Satisfaction'- Wonderlush -ALBUM SAMPLER

Carl Hudson is a session keyboardist and second official signing to UK label Digisoul. Carl is resident keys player for The Digisoul Band (Put together by producer Soulpersona) and has played alongside soul icons including Jocelyn Brown, Jean Carne, Leon Ware, Omar, The Valentine Brothers and has played numerous studio sessions with Soulpersona, Nick van Gelder (Jamiroquai) Princess Freesia and Katie Leone (The Digisoul band/Incognito/Reel People)
when not performing super, "soulful jazz funk" grooves Carl is resident keys player for Professor Green on all his live tours.

Carl is currently working on more of his own music plus various studio projects with Digisoul founder Soulpersona, Nick van Gelder,  The Andy Tolman Big Band and Princess Freesia as well as being recently unveiled as the new keys player for cult Acid Jazz Band Akimbo who are currently recording a brand new album.

His forthcoming instrumental concept album "Zoology For Martians" is set for a Spring 2013 release on Digisoul. A raregroove, jazz funk, soul cocktail of lush and goosebumpy grooves put together with the slick skills of Nick van Gelder (drums) Andy Tolman (bass) Terry Lewis (guitar) Neil Waters (trumpet) and Bob Dowell (trombone)
