Huch und schon wieder Hamburg … nein nein liegt nicht am Wetter … liegt einfach daran das aus Hamburg einfach gute Musik kommt ;-)

Mit MAES von der ℒaut & ℒuise Gang hab ich mir jemanden in meine Reihe eingeladen den ich schon seit Jahren verfolge. Letztes Jahr auf dem Katzensprung Festival waren wir dann auch Camp-Nachbarn und haben uns noch bis Montagmittag verquatscht … das war äußerst nice.

Für meine Reihe hat mir Stefan einen äußerst stimmungsvollen Mitschnitt von einer Party im PAL zu Hamburg zur Verfügung gestellt. NACKT ist eine zukunftsweisende, queer-inklusive Techno-Party im PAL, die Freiheit des sexuellen Ausdrucks, Körperpositivität, Fetisch, Kunst, Visuals und knallenden, hochmodernen Techno vereint. Gegründet von den PAL-Resident AT.AVEM und Lucinee, ist NACKT bekannt für seine einzigartige und hedonistische Atmosphäre, ein Dancefloor mit einer hingebungsvollen Energie, die sie für die Crowd und die DJs besonders macht.

This month we have a curator from LA, the purveyor of the @6amgroup , JIA. He has been bringing top notch techno talent to LA for the past few years, debuting artists from all over the world to the California warehouse scene successfully expanding its sonic landscape. 
Heres a few words from him: 
This mix is inspired by the many opening sets I would play here at the LA warehouse parties where I have the opportunity to marinate the room from ambient/spacey sounds while building up and layering sounds into a moodier vibe through the set leading into some mild excitement. My train of thought for opening is always wanting to leave the audience with an anticipated energy to welcome the headliner of the night. I take great pride in opening up proper. Much like BBQ culture in Guam, you gotta marinate the meat (in our case the dancefloor) before putting them in the grill for some proper fiesta action
