Winner of the prestigious Kranichsteiner Musikpreis for interpretation at the Ferienkurse für die Neue Musik in Darmstadt, Carlo is guitarist and multimedia artist, active within the experimental music and new medias.
He has performed all over Europe, in various national and international festivals such as the Stagione del Teatro "La Fenice" (Venice), Divertimento Ensemble - Rondò (Milan), at the Teatro "Mario Del Monaco" (Treviso) and TransArt Festival (Bolzano), Area Sismica and Crisalide Festival (Forlì), Festival Traiettorie (Parma), Teatro Aperto di Reggio Emilia, at SMOG, Nuits de Beau Tas, Ear To the Ground Festival and Kunstenfestival des Arts in Belgium, at Izlog Festival in Croatia, at Neue Oper Wien in Austria, at Time for Music Festival in Finland, at Warsaw Autumn in Poland, at Festival Ensems, Mixtur Festival, VANG Festival, SIRGA Festival and Universidad de Léon in Spain, SoundSpaces Festival in Sweden, NUMU Festival, Switzerland.  He was recently a guest soloist in the Ferienkurse für die Neue Musik in Darmstadt.

Siega collaborates with performers and composers, both as performer and new media artist, premiering remieres works by internationally renowned composers. His artistic partners include composers such as Giorgio Colombo Taccani, Chaya Czernowin (Israel/USA), Klaus Lang (Austria), Simon Løffler (Denmark), Julien Malaussena (France), Pauline Oliveros (USA), Stefan Prins (Belgium), Rebecca Saunders (UK/Germany), Alexander Schubert (Germany), Simon Steen-Andersen (Denmark), and Frédéric Verriéres (France).

His solo projects have met with appreciation from both critics and cultural organisations. In 2017 he received the artistic support by GAi and the Italian Minister of Culture, Can Serrat Artistic Support, while in 2019 Poly_Kosmos project received support from SACEM, and in 2021 full support for the realisation of the "IEG Project" recording project from the PSMSAD Fund of the INPS.

He has held seminars and masterclasses dedicated to new music, multimedia and the electric guitar at various institutions, including MUSAC and the University of Léon, the Conservatorio Superior "Bonifacio Gil" in Badajoz and the Conservatory of Vigo (Spain), the "Ischia Musica" summer courses, at the C.T.R. in Venice (musical improvisation linked to contemporary dance and 'contact improvisation'), "B. Marcello" Music Conservatory in Venice. During the Academic year 2020-21 he has been Guest Professor in electric guitar for contemporary music at "R. Franci" Conservatory of Music in Siena.

Carlo has also been awarded in many competitions including the 7th International Music Competition "Città di Treviso" section "Contemporary Music", special mention at the Competition for young talents "Val Tidone", and winner of scholarships, including "S. Vinti", Research-led Performance promoted by the "G. Cini" Foundation and the Orpheus Instituut in Gent. 

As academic, he has lectured at PARL_Next Generation (Linz), Method/Art Conference (Royal Conservatory of Antwerp), IRCAM Forum & Workshops (Paris), '21st Century Guitar Conference' (Lisbon), International Conference on New Music Concepts 2021 (Treviso), XXIX National Conference of the Italian Society of Musicology, and Orpheus Instituut Conference (Gent), EPARM 2023 (Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen), University of Gothenburg.

After graduating in guitar, in 2014 he obtained the MA with full marks and honours at the "B. Marcello" Music Conservatory in Venice, continuing his studies at the IrMus of the "C. Abbado" Music School in Milan, under the guidance of Francesco Zago, and the ICTUS Academy in Brussels and the KASK in Ghent, Belgium, under the supervision of Tom Pauwels, obtaining the MA of Arts in Contemporary Music, and the MA in Electronics Music & Multimedia Composition at the “G. Tartini” Music Conservatory of Trieste.
