Should you meet a 27-stone cockney cab driver whilst he’s downing dozens of pints of ale in his local boozer with soggy pork scratchings all over his face, you’d be unlikely to offer him a glass of your Bollinger Blanc De Noirs Vieilles Vignes Francaises. ‘I ain’t gone soft’ he’d bellow, sending showers of spittle all over the place. Should you offer him your spare ticket for Apparat at the Barbican, you’d have to expect the same retort; ‘Whot you fink I am? I ain’t gone soft’. Request that he show any act of kindness to another member of the human race and ‘I ain’t gone…’ etc etc… you get the picture.
 
‘Push’ is autoKratz ‘I ain’t gone soft’ moment.
 
It’s all well and good for us at Bad Life releasing all our arty-farty electronica and indie-schmindie, but we ain’t forgot why we’re here. Push is the lads reaffirming their commitment to the dance floor, pledging allegiance to the Greek goddess of the dancefloor, the mighty Terpsicore. minus that bloody lyre.
 
It’s what you’d expect from a modern day autoKratz banger; driving stabs, popping todd terry style snares and an ample share of fist pumping action.
 
With a couple of deft peak-time reworks from Just Regular Guys and Aerotronic to come, it’s fun for all the family. If your family likes packed, sweaty rooms where everyone is wasted. Mine does!
