You may remember Kobra from a 5-song tape released on Milan's excellent Occult Punk Gang label back in 2018. Not to be confused with the other Italian band from the early 80's or the current rapper who also goes by Kobra. A pit of snakes to step carefully through indeed. "Confusione" comes after a couple of line up changes and sounds way different than the first tape. They channel the spirit of early anarcho-punk and Italian hardcore while still injecting it with their own unique personality. The album tells the story of young broke punks in Milan, always looking for a grift in the system, angry but also full of self-doubt, torn between activism and nihilism.

'Confusione' is 10 songs plus one interlude, 22+ minutes long. It features added saxophone by Luigi Monteanni from ArteTetra records. 150 on translucent red and 350 on black 150gr vinyl housed in a 24pt reverse board jacket with lyric insert and download card. Art by Francesco Goats. Mastered by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air studios.

“Doce Miséria” é o primeiro LP do artista Vitor Marx.
Aborda múltiplas esferas da vida do artista, falando sobre questões políticas, medo, desespero, tristeza e tudo que permeia a vida de um jovem no Brasil em 2020.

O artista já se via em uma fase de reclusão e introspecção desde antes da pandemia do COVID-19 e percebe-se na obra a complexidade dos sentimentos que a solidão causa, rodeado de gente ou não.

É apresentado logo de princípio a multiplicidade de inspirações e referências musicais do artista, com faixas que vão do techno ao punk, do metal ao new wave, do synthpop ao indie rock. Entretanto, percebe-se a indissociabilidade do ambiente da cidade de Porto Alegre e da América do Sul na musicalidade do artista, que tem fortes bases na música brasileira.

Sem cogitar a possibilidade de não tocar em temas como a crise político-social acontecendo no mundo, com tantas questões sociais, raciais, políticas, econômicas e culturais em voga nesse momento de transição da sociedade ocidental, o artista não poupa ataques à hipocrisia e à podridão dessa onda conservadora fascista que vem assolando o Brasil e o mundo inteiro, deixando evidente o fato de que não existe arte apolítica e o papel do artista nisso tudo.

Com 11 faixas, 36,5 minutos de duração, o álbum “Doce Miséria” é apresentado ao mundo dia 11 de setembro de 2020, data escolhida em referência e memória do golpe de estado no Chile que se passou nessa mesma data em 1973. Golpe que derrubou o presidente Allende e instaurou um regime civil-militar financiado por interesses das elites que contou com o apoio de forças militares estadunidenses.

Tudo pensado, composto, cantado, tocado, gravado, produzido, mixado e masterizado por Vitor Marques Xavier em seu quarto e em seu home studio chamado Espaço Domo em Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil.

com a exceção de:
- bateria da faixa “Dama Vermelha”, que é um sample da canção “Tudo falta, você sobra” da banda Baleia, tocado por Gabriel Vaz e gravado e mixado por Bruno Giorgi no estúdio O Quarto em Rio de Janeiro, RJ. Sample cedido com expressa autorização dos citados;
-parte da bateria de “Radial”, que foi tocada por Felipe Cimadon;
-samples de 808 de “Rorschach”, que foram gravados por Rodrigo Wilasco (também conhecido como Wilasco) no estúdio Áudio Porto em Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil.
