Ĉio Mortus

Traditionally a "devil" represents evil, however, in the musical field the idea of admitting that something does represent evil has grown in recent years and therefore, it is "diabolical music". This EP is a mockery of both the traditional conception that is afraid of the "devil" and the conception that accepts and embraces the "devil".

With seemingly meaningless lyrics, Silphium aims to express the feelings of many countries in the Global South who live under the yoke of the "devil", who hides in everyday life, our thoughts and social reality.

Silphium was born in the peripheral area of Mexico City in 2022 as a project that seeks to criticize social inequality in the artistic production. Silphium's sound is primitive, aggressive and unprofessional, it does not follow the current standards of music production nor is it made to be commercialized.
Silphium support the community social claim against capitalism from the Latin American reality with lyrics in the Esperanto language.
