Stockton, California may not be at the top of the list when naming the most prominent musical cities of our generation. In fact, Stockton may be more infamous for its violence than its violins, yet a young emcee named Carlos Bryant has a slightly different outlook on his hometown. "Stockton," Carlos states, "it's dangerous and beautiful at the same time." Despite his difficult surroundings, Carlos is using his past experiences as musical motivation.
