I'm in SoundCloud because I want to learn to LISTEN to and SPEAK Mandarin tones like a native! I've been told it's impossible to do, but I don't believe that. I've always considered myself as being tone deaf, but only because people would always start crying or worse! whenever I started to sing. Even in school choirs I soon learnt to mime when the teacher came anywhere near me! But I'm too old now to not do something just because I've been told I can't! Please excuse me if I find fault with your recordings in Mandarin Tone Bootcamp! I want to be helpful, but most important I want to make an evaluation of someone else's speaking, and find out if I heard it right, when you or Sarge add your comments.. If I make a wrong call, I hope someone corrects me, that way I learn even more.
