This year, Carmel crossed Canada on the “Guess Who’s Driving Tour” with fellow Halifax singer/songwriter Kim Wempe, playing 50+ shows from Newfoundland to British Columbia. The tour wraps up with a highly anticipated homecoming show at the renowned Halifax listening room, The Carleton, on November 29th 9pm.

Coming up, Carmel will showcase at the 2010 East Coast Music Awards and, upon the release  of her new album this Spring, embark on a cross-Canada and International release tour. Earlier in 2009, Carmel released “Lost Lives EP” (available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazonmp3 and LaLa), showcased at the 2010 Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week, received Honorable Mention for “Twenty Something Girl” in the 12th Annual Unisong Songwriting Contest and was nominated for an Independent Singer/Songwriter Award Folk Category for “Sunny Days.”
