I love this!! At my daughter's birth in 1983, my sister said, "You sounded like a Peruvian shaman." I did not hold back.  The sound expanded the body- I remember strong sensation, but not suffering.  It was awesome.  I am a singer.

Apparently there are preferred sounds to make when giving birth. The quieter the better.

We disagree. Nor do we support the weird culture that has evolved with the medicalising of birth practices. So as a family, we bring you Birth Metal.  Did we make a new genre?
