Won’t be buying your gifts at the stores today,
Got no money to do that right now.
But I’ll give something else in my own special way,
And it might mean more to you somehow.
 
I asked all my friends what on earth I could give
and I asked all my friends up above.
They said to make something, so that’s what I did
and this Christmas I’m giving you love.

we could all use a little more love.
Gonna give you my time,

I think that it might be enough.  
 
It’s a magical and miserable time of year,
with our wish list demands running high.
But you’ll have much more fun
if you’re nice to someone,

Do we really recall every gift we receive?
Is it something that we’ll really miss?
