Paisaje Sonoro creado durante mi residencia en "Culturia" en Berlin (Octubre-Diciembre 2010), supervisada por Mario Asef (ARG). Motivo de Residencia por medio de “Culturia” y “Visions of Arts”.

La pieza “Berlin Silences”, originalmente diseñada para ser escuchada por medio de paneles de aniquilación del sonido, consistía en entrar a un espacio, dividido una línea virtual, en el que te veías invadido por el silencio. 

Presentada en distintos ámbitos sonoros como: "Culturia’s Winter Show" 
- Berlín - (Diciembre 2010), "De Origen Bélico" - Exposición realizada en vivo y livestream, curada por Miyö Van Stenis - (Septiembre 03 2011) - Ateneo de Valencia, Venezuela -. Pieza compilatoria y reciente motivo de "Beca Sound-In" (España 2013) y presentada recientemente en el Podcast "Cazar Truenos" de Luis Alvarado (Buh Records) dentro del ámbiente sonoro del Perú.

Urban sounds are collected and reprocessed to relate an acoustic wave impinging on our ears like a beach that far up from the signals from a world in total and permanent communication.Sounds come and go, appear and never return. Sounds that will never be the same. Sounds reminiscent of the everyday world, known to them identifiable enough yet insufficient for full understanding of the actual event takes place. Sound transmission is the enduring value that remains even if the message should be decrypted or rather created by the viewer from the raw material that gives the work.

Where does it comes from or what is its significance? is the least important, just knowing it exists and that comes to us to remind us that through it we are in constant communication with the world that surrounds us and that we live immersed in this sea of full surround sound and permanently Sometimes we do not perceive the extent of what we call silence.

"Berlin Silences"

This experimental piece of Improvisation. It is a tribute to Rimbaud. It was done as it was recorded, no edition was made to this piece. It was created the second of January of 2014.

"Instantáneas Sonoras" es un estilo creado por Carol Borja en el 2010 y que se público vía electrónica finalmente en el 2013 a través de la "Fonoteca de Música Experimental y Arte Sonoro" de Murcia, España (SONM) como parte de un ciclo de "perfomances secretos".

"Reportitis para Piñango" ó Despedida del Mtro. Piñango: café y cigarrillos.

Educated first as a Graphic Designer in Universidad Vasco de Quiroga and then as an Intermedia artist at the Fine Arts Academy of Budapest. Her interests are Installation, Performance, Video, Photography and Sound. She have shown her works in Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Hungary, Ireland, United Kingdom, Israel, Germany, Spain and France. Carol was group co-ordinator and creator of the photo concept “Occasional Freedom” which was selected by Tulca Festival in 2006. Then she was selected in 2007 to participate in POSZT (National Theatrical Festival of Pécs) with performance “Puttó”. She was selected artist by Visions of Arts to do "Culturia" Art Residence in Berlin where she created the soundscape "Berlin Silences". She graduated from University of Warwick and University of Amsterdam in Master in International Performance Research. in 2011. She presented Sarah Kane's adaptation "4.48 Psychosis" in the CMMAS in 2013: ‘Advocating Visibility for the Mentally ill Minority in Mexico: An adaptation of Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis to a Mexican context’
