There's no 'anthems' here which is to be applauded, rather these are songs and productions that are ferociously independent, directed at the dancefloor rather than the marketplace, and capture perfectly that tightrope-walk between drive/determination and despair/anxiety that makes the best disco such a still-uniquely-modern response to nightlife grind, not overburdened with an 'educational' impulse but absolutely revelatory at every turn, never losing sight of the main job of disco – to make people lose their shit on any dancefloor it's dropped on.

Carol is a Billboard charting artist and has released eleven dance singles on her Beagle Boy Music label.
Playing and performing from an early age, Carol became interested in writing and recording in the 80's when she was signed with two labels and released an album and three, 12" dance records, which charted both nationally in Billboard, and internationally on the U.K. Dance charts.

After taking time off to finish her college education, she returned in 2000 to her first love; writing and recording music and in 2001 she released her "Into the Light" CD. Paul Burton of CD Review wrote, "...passionate and sincere vocals, pumping bass and driving percussion, multi layered keyboards, and heartfelt lyrics. Her arrangements are rich and tasteful... She creates beautiful music for lovers or dancers, partiers and dreamers."

Her passion for dance music was once again ignited when Harlequin Recording Group released her original songs "Reach Out," and "Come Be My Lover," in 2008. Carol then started her own record label called Beagle Boy Music and in 2009 released her original dance single entitled, "I Can Stop the Rain." After 23 years, Carol was once again on the Billboard charts with "Rain." She then followed that release with 5 more original dance songs: "Take Me and Dance," "Into the Night," "How Many Times." Let Me Go, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Do Your Best, "Your Love,"  "Where is the Passion,""If This is Love," and "You Have Rescued Me."
She was also featured last year in the CAPP Records release of an 80's dance compilation with the cover song Bette Davis Eyes and Nivek Tek's ISV release of Erasure's "A Little Respect."

Carol Hahn has a music and voice-over company that produces jingles, soundtracks, and voice-overs for clients on every continent. Her music has been heard on PBS, Sirius and XM Radio, HBO, and Viacom.
