For her Kickstarter campaign that funded a 10" vinyl EP, Terri Moeller created just a handful of lathe-cut seven inch picture discs that featured her cover of the MEKONS song "Ghosts of American Astronauts". They were made one at a time, in real time, on a vintage lathe. For those who were not lucky enough to get one of them, here is her version of the song, available for streaming with the kind personal permission of Mr. Jon Langford. The original version is on the 1988 Mekons album "So Good It Hurts". For those of you who inexplicably are new to the Mekons, the album "Heaven and Hell (the Very Best of the Mekons)" is a great place to start, and is available through all the  usual offical outlets!

Recording Cyril's first album, 'Flowers', is how Jon and I met 22 years ago, and we've been friends and musical collaborators ever since...just one of many examples of Cyril's gift for bringing people together.
