BËT SET - when the eye can barely make out the day. 
Bët set - the dawn that chases away the pregnant darkness of creatures of uncertain shapes. The fascinating adventures of our heroes, their adventures, their JAAR JAAR, their tortuous paths along which evil spirits lie in wait. 
Courage is a formidable ally and self-sacrifice a state of mind: BULBÀYYI. The valiant warrior does not give up easily. In the shadows, he doubts and thinks about everything he has left behind. 
Fear haunts him, but deep down he knows he must not give up: JAMBAAR DAWUL. 
His eyelids grow heavy and close. Tomorrow at the same time, under the big tree, the elders will make way for the women, young men and children. They will all form a large circle that will vibrate to the rhythm of the tom-toms. 
The griot will then shout: YËNGULEEN the Tama under his armpit. In the middle of the night, the Naalanké will enter the stage to sing a sweet song, 
paying tribute to his all-time love: GIDELAM. 
Starry-eyed or starry-eyed, the lovers talk to each other without seeing each other. 
So as not to make anyone jealous, the Wolof griot praises all the women in their traditional costumes. 
Their beauty echoes in his distinctive voice. 
The singular beauty of the Linguères: TAAR. -
Bàkku is Bët Set's debut EP,
7 tracks that sail through the mists of Hip Hop and Trap.
A trio led by Vallée Noire, the French-Senegalese lyricist, accompanied by MrCroco and Dest Temp on production.
This project was produced and recorded between Strasbourg and Toulouse between 2023 and 2024.

BËT SET - quand l’oeil commence à peine à distinguer le jour. 
Bët set - l’aurore qui chasse l’obscurité enceinte de créatures aux formes incertaines. Les aventures fascinantes de nos héros, leurs péripéties, leur JAAR JAAR, leurs chemins tortueux le long desquels de mauvais esprits sont à l’affût. 
Le courage est un allié redoutable et l’abnégation un état d’esprit: BULBÀYYI. Le valeureux guerrier ne se laisse pas abattre facilement. Dans l’ombre, il doute et pense à tout ce qu’il a laissé derrière lui. 
La peur le hante mais au fond de son être, il sait qu’il ne faut point abdiquer : JAMBAAR DAWUL. 
Les paupières deviennent lourdes, elles se ferment. Demain, à la même heure, sous le grand arbre, les anciens laisseront la place aux femmes, aux jeunes hommes et aux enfants. Ils formeront tous un grand cercle qui vibrera au rythme des tam-tams. 
Le griot alors criera : YËNGULEEN le Tama sous son aisselle. Au milieu de la nuit, le Naalanké entrera en scène pour chanter une douce chanson, 
rendant ainsi hommage à son amour de toujours: GIDELAM. 
Les yeux dans les étoiles ou des étoiles plein les yeux, les amoureux se parlent sans se voir. 
Le griot wolof, pour ne point faire de jaloux, fera l’éloge de toutes les femmes, dans leurs costumes traditionnels. 
À sa voix si particulière, leur beauté fera écho. 
Cette beauté singulière des Linguères: TAAR.

7 titres qui naviguent sur les brumes du Hip Hop et de la Trap.
Un trio mené par Vallée Noire, lyriciste Franco-Sénégalais accompagné de MrCroco et Dest Temp à la production.

Hey, blanket is back, with this time a matter close to my heart. My dear spouse was sent in North of France, Hénin-Beaumont, to be a junior philosophy teacher in the turf of the head of the French far-right. You can have here a sense of some impressions he had in the cold corridors of the high school.
