Pliant textures and patient moods are the raw material for the second release from Pandilla Ltd, a Portuguese collective who split their time between Lisbon and Berlin. The contrasts between tight and loose, strict and swung, minimal and jazzy on 'Triangulum Australe' (the Southern Triangle constellation) slips down like 2004-vintage Villalobos.  'Tuni' has a similarly extended runtime, over which improvised and heavily-filtered chromatics bubble excitedly over a bleary backbeat.
