   Carrington "Carri Belafonte" Robinson whom you may also know as S.H.Y.N.E (Smart Handsome Young N Eatin) was born June 16, 1989. Born in Brooklyn, New York raised by his mother he lived in various parts of the borough, from Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy to the Bushwick area of BK. From a young Age he always loved music something he may have inherited from his Dad whose now a minister and Gospel Singer.

   Carri began singing at the tender age of 4 year old. It wasn't until he moved to QueensBridge projects at age 9 that he really started started to pursue music. QueensBridge a name synonymous with the hip-hop culture and music in general it was only right he fit right in. Still a singer it wasnt until Age 12 where Carri wrote his 1st bars. From there the praise and buzz he received around the neighborhood fueled him even further. He later joined a group winning various talent shows around the city such as All Stars Talent Network and City Stars Talent Search. He Also has done tv shows such as the Ron Alexander show and the world Famous Apollo. Being Side Track by personal issues he took a hiatus from the music now 23 he is back better then ever with more than just bars beats and metaphors he also has a message!
