Here is the second improvisation in the Songs Without Words series.

This piece was created (on a whim) at the upright piano, recorded with my iPhone. I uploaded that audio into Pro Tools and played along to it, on my keyboard (via midi). My intent was to capture the vibe, feel and all of the "right" notes.

I left the cellphone recording in the mix because there is something about the background noise, the air and "aliveness" of it that I've come to appreciate.

The timing isn't perfect, and you'll hear some background sounds. There are some pitch differences, too. (I really need to get the acoustic piano tuned.)

Though, there are qualities of peace and spontaneity and freedom from thinking, that I think were captured. My hope is that those qualities translate to you as you listen.

Tear Drop is the ultimate Sad Piano Album, it was made with heart, all my emotions and weird thoughts and creepy feelings were put in it, sadness and weakness are no shame, we all have down sides, and in our lives there's always a time where we get depressed or despaired, i wrote these compositions in those times in my life, where i felt down, sad and lonely, piano has always been my companion and my aid in those days, so i used it to its best and i decided to share my experiences and the feelings i had with you all.
