The Hunt

Unlike our previous two collabs, Dan does lyrics, vocals and lead guitars on an instrumental by me.
I made a 7/4 track for him, knowing he can sail odd waves, and here you are the fantastic result !!

What is truth with all this noise?

the reasons are known , but none are told
With every turn, a fracture grows
A battle rages deep within

a Paradox of Choice 
where every option feels like chains,

Lost in reflections, I wander alone
Crimson tears, my heart is stone
How to choose in the dead of night
when freedom’s chains are icy and cold

A thousand doors, yet none align
The weight of options is a cruel design.  
Darkness creeps in 
casting a snare
A maze of paths
but yet none to declare.

Every turn, a promise fades,
Life’s tapestry, is stitched with blades.
Journeys false, reality bends 
In tangled thoughts the mind descends.

I was looking through an old external hard drive and found this track I recorded back in 2016. Figured I might as well share it now, because I remember liking it a lot at the time, but then I just sort of forgot about it. Trying to remix an old song like this was a real challenge. It's not perfect, but I did the best I can right now. Thanks for listening.
