Since he interviewed Gearbox for the episode, I decided to create something inspired by Borderland's seemingly infinite weaponry.

This is a hydrostatic grenade. The metallic 'nade impacts the target and unleashes mineral-rich water that easily conducts the electricity generated from the rapidly spinning internal parts. This charged water combines with a gas that shoots out of the nade, combusting instantly. The whole process takes less than a second.
