Porsche 997 Turbo Cabrio with a Werks1 Carbon Fiber intake, Tubi exhaust, and GIAC tune.  Rolling start in first gear, then wide open through first, second and third gears, then into fourth a touch.  iPhone was inside the car next to the e-brake, with the top down.

Porsche 997 Turbo Cabrio with a Werks1 Carbon Fiber intake, Tubi exhaust, and GIAC tune.  Just playing around with the turbos/diverter valves...driving, rolling into the gas then letting off right as the turbos spool.  iPhone was inside the car next to the e-brake, with the top down.

New M6 convertible, standing revs.  iPhone was on the ground probably 3 feet away from the exhaust tips, so the mic is clipping during the recording.  Sound is still plenty enjoyable though!

New M6 convertible start-up with some revs.  Car was just being moved around an indoor parking area.  iPhone was placed on the rear edge of the trunk lid, facing backwards.

Current X5 with the twin turbo V8 on a cold start (during the winter, so actually cold), with some light revving.  iPhone was sitting on the lip of the rear bumper.

Current X5 with the twin turbo V8, at operating temperature, revving.  iPhone was sitting on the lip of the rear bumper.

X6 with the twin turbo V8, not quite a cold start but close.  This is the same engine as in the X5, but with a different-sounding exhaust (not aftermarket).  iPhone was sitting on the lip of the rear bumper.

This is my friend's E39 M5 with a full Supersprint exhaust starting up, quick rev, then driving off...unfortunately not very aggressively :(

Moving an E90 M3 around in an indoor parking area.  Mild temperature start and some revs.  iPhone was sitting on the back edge of the trunk lid facing backward.  Squeaking/rubbing noises are tires on the smooth concrete floor.

Ferrari F430 Spider with the F1 transmission start-up, moving just a little (clunking/clattering noises are from the clutch disengaging when I let off the gas), then some light revs.  Engine was cold so I couldn't (shouldn't have) revved much more than I did.  iPhone was placed on the back end of the bonnet facing backward.
