"ebuting on Or Two Strangers' March 2019 compilation "Strangers," "Telephone Days" stood out as a progressive house gem from Argentinean duo Artfaq. Now receiving the Yin and Yang remix treatment, reworkings come from Italian and Indian artists.

Gai Barone needs little introduction to anyone cognizant of the underground dance scene over the past decade. A consummate craftsman, the Italian has crossed genres with style, fluidity and panache, creating a musical blend that captures the hearts and minds of an ever-growing support base. Yang is honored to welcome back Gai for a third remix on the label. His devastating rework of "Telephone Days" captures and builds on themes of the original by combining heavy trademark kick and shimmering percussive intent with a glorious swathe of melodic elements. Acid-tinged phrases wax and wane across the near nine-minute offering, while textured pads flow across the sumptuous breakdown. Across darkened velvet skies, "Almesian" burns brightly through the music of Golan Zocher and Greenage. Above South American and Indian continents complex constellations of sound are reflected in intricate percussive rhythms and galloping bassline. Stratified pads and filtered arpeggios glitter in deep reverberating space before "Alhena" appears. Evolving out of the same sonic matrix, a swirling and dense soundscape emerges in the night sky. A new energy formed from infinitely delayed synth lines and ethereal vocal phrases fly above seismic bassline and ticking rhythms.

Carsten Halm is a german Dj and producer but keeps his doings very much under the radar.

He started his early career more then10 years ago  as a dj avoiding club play  but instead  played at self organized  parties in the countryside near Cologne on a hillside with just two residencies. The parties got so famous that  Sven Väth and others came to visit . This experience over the years prepared himself  to understand the essential goals for his music productions. His music has the unique quality to bring people together and experience something very positive.
Now Carsten is playing propper clubs as well but keeps what he thinks is truthfully his roots.

In 2018/2019  he released on the Cologne label Monkey League  of which „Mondlicht" und „Traumtänzer" were  very well received and ended up in the top positions of Top 100 at Beatport.
His recent release in 2020 on Parquet was supported by Artbat, Solomon,Animal Trainer, Format-B, Eelke Kleijn and also made it into the top positions the Beatport charts.
