His career as musician and graphic artist began in 1987 when he was hired as an overnight program host on Detroit's Public Radio.
His program "Fast Forward" was the first-ever radio show in Detroit devoted to electronic music and was described as most-avantgarde during that time.
In 1990, Oldham's creative association with Netherlands-based banging Djax-Up-Beats began, leading to a legendary visual identity! 💥

‘To conclude this year, I switched it up a bit for this podcast and didn’t do a DJ set. This time I made a studio mix which compiles tracks, loops & sound bits into a mix. I always wanted to try this and see what I would come up with and ended up having a lot of fun with it. There are so many possibilities and I ended up tweaking this for way too long. Hope you enjoy this sound showcase of new & old tracks, random percussion loops and synth additions.’

James is a Dublin based DJ that’s honed his skills over the past 7 years. He has gone from strength to strength playing in a multitude of venues across Dublin supporting acts such as NTBR, Bours, Perc & Vromo.
James’ versatility to utilise both Vinyl & CDJs allow him the ability to deliver proficient performances every time he plays. 
His sound extends beyond the familiar, delving into the pulsating realm of Techno & House. Big inspirations of his are DJs such as Umek, Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, Dave Angel & Stranger incorporating their sounds and mixing styles to his own.
Heavily inspired by the golden era of Techno from the late 90s & early 00’s, it coincides perfectly with his fast paced mixing style that’ll be own show throughout this mix.

PASQAL is een artiest die je meeneemt in een wereld van hypnotische, donkere grooves en tribale ritmes. Twee jaar geleden raakte hij in de ban van techno, gegrepen door de diepgang en mentale focus die deze sonische reis biedt. Tijdens zijn sets vervagen externe impulsen en ontstaat een moment om naar binnen te keren, een spiritueel avontuur met jezelf als gids.

De kern van PASQAL’s geluid ligt in minimalisme, waar subtiele, gelaagde elementen voor introspectie zorgen. Met de blik op de toekomst blijft hij samen met UNKNOWN events organiseren, met als doel een veilige, huiselijke sfeer te creëren. Tegelijkertijd werkt hij onophoudelijk aan zijn eigen producties, steeds op zoek naar nieuwe structuren en grenzeloze sonische mogelijkheden.

Deze mix legt de nadruk op technische precisie en organische energie, een cocon van sound waarin elke beat, elk detail en elke schakering tot in de vezels wordt gevoeld.

From House to Disco - Gonna Get Over (Original Mix)

For our next release we are treated with a diverse 4-track EP by Ghettofaust. After his first appearance on the label last month we are excited to announce his 'End Of The Earth' EP. A diverse yet synth-driven EP showcasing the diversity Ghettofaust is capable of. Starting off we have 'Zugzwang', a mellow dub-infused groovy house track. Following is the title track 'End Of The Earth'. Spooky pads, classic house stabs & a solid warm bassline, the perfect recipe for a proper house record. Diving deeper into the EP we are greeted by the synth-infused techno track 'Mea Culpa'. A bit reminiscent of older Vince Watson productions, the tune layers a lot of different elements together creating an atmospheric & melodic rhythmic record, the true definer of Ghettofaust's style & abilities. Rounding off the EP we stay in the techno area with 'Feierabend'. Proper grooves, dubby stabs and a latin guitar to give the track an unusual twist. 'End Of The Earth' is out on all major platforms on the 29th of August.
