Our 107th FrenzyPodcast, and 3rd of this year’s December Series, will be provided by Lobster. Lobster is a familiar face for us, as he provided the 46th FrenzyPodcast, a little over 2 years ago. Since then Lobster has developed and matured his sound a lot which is why we’re happy to have to have him over for another round on the Series. 

2021 wasn’t the easiest year, again, but that didn’t hold Lobster back. He told us: “For me 2021 was all about shaping my sound, dj/produce wise. I strongly believe a set requires a continuous flow of rhythmic tension. This way I’m constantly working towards something unknown, but still maintaining the energy and groove.”

That thought has been translated well in the mix Lobster created this time, which contains a very solid groove, rhythmic tension, some delightful vocal chips and more, which will captivate you from the start.

The Vault Sessions resident plays a refined selection of styles, with a focus on hypnotic yet powerful Techno that showcases dominant percussion and draws inspiration from both old school and hard groove influences.

Her deep-rooted love and passion for music can be traced back to her parents, who organised electronic music events in Budapest during the 90s. Influenced by her parents’ musically driven upbringing, she ambitiously embarked on her career when she was a mere 18 years young.

Fast forward to the present day, Grace is currently at the forefront of the thriving scene in The Netherlands and is swiftly accelerating within the international circuit. She has been showcasing her craft at various renowned events around Europe with a jam packed 2023 schedule, playing at the likes of Awakenings, Vault Sessions, FUSE, Sziget Festival, RSO, Rotterdam Rave, Soenda Festival, Intercell and By the Creek, among others.

It didn’t take her long to take the next step within her career as she head towards her journey into production four years ago, which rapidly led to her track “Vermilion Empire” being released on Amelie Lens’ label, EXHALE in 2020 and her latest tracks being released on Voxnox, Deestricted, IMF and ANTIDOTE.

Marco Ramos, a Portuguese bohemian DJ/producer and avid enthusiast of art, music, and nightlife, is currently based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Renowned for his distinctive mixing style and eclectic sets, he stands out as a versatile DJ seamlessly navigating genres from Techno to Electro. Throughout his career, Marco has graced the stages of key clubs and prominent music festivals in Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, and Germany.
Sharing the stage with an array of international artists, Marco has collaborated with the likes of Alexi Delano, A.Paul, Ben Long, Billy Nasty, Carl Craig, Dextro, Dimi Angélis, DJ Emerson, DJ Ze Mig-L, Fixon, Gary Beck, Industrialyzer, Jeff Mills, Jeroen Search, Mark Flash, Mike Storm, Norbak, Orbe, Ocktawian, Rebekah, Ricardo Garduno, Ritzi Lee, Stanislav Tolkachev, Submerge, Vince Watson, Tommy Four Seven, Torsten Kanzler, Truncate, The Advent, Temudo and many others, showcasing the breadth of his musical network.
In addition to his prowess as a DJ, Marco Ramos has ventured into production, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in his artistic journey. Notably, he released the track "Walking Life," featured in a V.A compilation on the Spanish label VS. Further solidifying his presence in the scene, Marco unveiled a 10-track LP titled "Voyager" on the esteemed Subsist Records. His work has garnered support from influential figures such as Audio Injection, A Thousand Details, Drum Complex, DVS1, Elyas, Gotshell, Jeroen Search, Laurent Garnier, Pacou, Oliver Rosemann, affirming his promising trajectory.
Looking ahead to 2024, Marco Ramos anticipates a bustling year with two upcoming releases scheduled on the esteemed Mexican cult label, Illegal Alien Records. 
With more announcements on the horizon, it is evident that Marco is poised for continued improvement and innovation in the electronic music landscape.

Vera and I met as residents at our beloved Club Basis and quickly found out Vera was moving in a similar direction as I did a few years ago. Since we both originally came from different backgrounds, the connection felt extra strong. This called for a B2B. The synergy was even more intense than we expected, turning into a three-hour journey of layering and going deeper and deeper, slowly building to a heavy and dark crescendo. I personally don't think I've ever built up a set this perfectly, and this can only really be attributed to the incredible chemistry we had here.

We’re so excited about the outcome, that we decided to share the set, and we sincerely hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did playing this.
