Phyr Records is the new label from Italy's Pyramidal Decode that has featured top artists like Takaaki Itoh, Dimi Angélis, PWCCA, and Oliver Rosemann, since launching in 2024. Now presenting a joint LP release with Oscar Mulero titled 'Il Poema,' this follows four albums already in just three years.

Oscar Mulero is known for his standout cyclical sound and running the PoleGroup and Warm Up imprints as well as contributing to influential labels like Kr!z’s Token and P.E.A.R.L.’s Falling Ethics.

Swedish techno innovator Lakej is back on Soma Records with a brand-new release that delves even deeper into the introspective, hypnotic soundscapes that have defined his sonic identity. Known for his stripped-back, yet emotionally charged productions, Lakej’s latest offering continues his evolution within the genre while staying true to the atmospheric minimalism that first captured attention on earlier Soma releases.

The new EP, titled “Static Future”, showcases Lakej's mastery of tension and release, blending polyrhythmic percussion, evolving textures, and subterranean basslines. Each track unfolds like a ritual; tight, immersive, and meticulously crafted for the dancefloor.

Ra Ph est un DJ actif depuis 1997. Il entame son parcours dans les musiques électroniques en cofondant le collectif Wax Addict dans la région Grand Est au début des années 2000. En 2016, il crée le collectif T-Sar, affirmant encore davantage son engagement dans la scène techno indépendante.Installé dans un univers sonore hypnotique, percussif et profondément rythmique, Ra Ph a partagé la scène avec des artistes majeurs tels que Dave Clarke, Dax J, Florian Meindl, Slam, Fernanda Martins, Antigone, Quelza ou encore Bours. Il est aujourd’hui DJ résident au Silodom et au Sektor Heimat à Sarrebruck.En 2022, il cofonde le collectif Tekuno, dédié à l’organisation d’événements exigeants dans le Grand Est en France.Fort de son expérience derrière les platines, Ra Ph s’est récemment lancé dans la production musicale. Il a signé ses premiers titres sur Silodom, WRD Records et M4rlow Records, avec des sorties comme Fuyu No Eko, Rommelbootzen, Summer Solstice et Futur Alien.

At this point a regular contributor in defining Token’s sound, Border One steps up for his sixth EP on the label in five years. As in many of his past projects, ‘Where is Now’ bleeds character through effect for a trip on the dancefloor. 

Establishing the ambiance of the record, Border One meets pace with depth in the titletrack A1. A pressing bassline and progressively squelching synth accents combine to press the dancefloor, decorated with flickering hi hats. The track remains a steady roller throughout while maintaining an underlying attitude that only adds to its initial drive. Focusing back his energy on percussion, Border One prioritises eccentric groove with insistent tone. ‘Time Drift’ reaffirms his minimalist approach to the EP, only inviting anxious drum sequences with rising rides in the second half. The portal opens steadily in ‘Time Drift’, establishing a slightly more meditative tone than he’s done in the past. ‘Echo State’ returns to resonance, a sound well fit for the label. With quick loops and a heavy focus on the hypnotic, in a dancefloor-commanding kind of way, the Belgian artist gives his signature sound that rolls effortlessly off of well tuned soundsystems. With a tight grip on the track’s pressure, Border One transitions into the final track ‘Split Recall’. Here, he finds a direct path through a heavily psychedelic landscape. Bringing in occasional high pitched synth sequences and cutting through claps while the stereo field turns and evolves, Border One creates a closing track with attention to detailing his arrangement and variance. Rolling off in one section to stomping through others, the Belgian artist proves once more that his sound continues to be reinvented throughout his work.

His tracks have been released on respected labels like Transition, Duplicity, Obscuur, and Suara, with support from Dax J, Chlar, Alarico, Richie Hawtin, Yanamaste and more. Known for layered multi-deck sets, Aidan has played across Australia and is steadily building his presence in the global techno scene.
