Music Genre: Melodic Progressive House

Progressive House is typified by stimulating peaks and troughs (highest and lowest points in energy) throughout a track's duration. Layering different sounds on top of each other and slowly bringing them in and out of the mix is a key idea behind the progressive movement. 

The melodic side of progressive house which is what my show Sounds from Above, for the most part is about, (although it can and does blend with traditional progressive house) is packed with driving rhythms and forward thinking sounds.

Having both released on some of the biggest labels in Dance music, Hausman and EDHI EDWARD together become a tour de force. They've teamed up to bring us a euphonious, eight-note driven masterpiece, a beautiful piece of 08'-influenced Prog House.

With 'Don't Look Away,' we've got the best of both of these talented producers. With a nod to the styles of Morgan Page and Deadmau5, EDHI and Hausman each showcase their unique talents in this absolutely alluring example of melodic dance music. The sexy vocal weaves in and out of a subtle, charming, plucky chord progression, bolstered by an infectious groove and bassline. This song is perfect for the dance floor, or for driving with the windows down and volume at 11!
