Love Songs Of The Tropics

So I decided to spend my birthday recording a new mix (it's been a while) inspired by a party I played not long ago. After all the partygoers decided to go down for a smoke, the few that remained spent the rest of the night dancing their asses off to some of the weirder groovy stuff that I normally never play, and indulging me in my stylistic sharp turns that always seem like they're gonna empty a dance floor. This is a taste of the hour that ensued that night.

I intentionally tried to keep it focused on very new music that I find exciting right now, including some made by dear friends and for the first time, some by myself! The last track is probably coming out very soon...

This is my rework of my dear Opus Occvltiis' track "Take The Horizon Away (Sunrise Mix)", in which I've drastically re-arranged the elements of the original track recomposed them into a long-form, slowly developing essay-form piece. It is some of my best work yet, right at the edge of club and non-club. Enjoy.
