Bio:

AorMos started out as a DJ when he was 15 years old and enjoyed playing electronic music for more than two decades. At first he played with the sounds closest to the House scene, to make a leap to Minimal at the end of 2000. And that year he became interested in all aspects of Techno, from its purest roots, spinning the most melodic vibrations. , deep sounds and progressive aspects and always looking at producers and record labels that offer great quality in their productions.

Since April 2016 he has hosted his radio show "Modulating the air" on cosmosradio.de

Born and bred in southern Germany, he has become one of the steadiest upcoming legacies of this inspirational evolution of modern dance music. Modeplex has carefully constructed a sound that would seemingly fit in another dimension of musical perception, with hypnotic rhythms, lush textures, and a very real and memorable mesmerizing sense of melody. There is also an aspiration bringing reverie and awe to the drums, so that they shake and vibrate under your skin, through to your core. Characterised of sonic crafted productions, he continues drawing his own perspective of deep and melodic techno and reigns his own empire of sound. A truly captivating journey through an electric melting pot of unique and enthralling tracks that stick long in the mind. He gradually hones and perfects his musical skills, and gives rise to ideas that surpass the verge of ordinary sound.

“Music expresses what can not be said, and what it is impossible to keep silent about.” This quotation from the french writer Victor Hugo describes what has always driven Cary Crank: to find a language that is multi-layered enough to express that which moves him. 

Cary knew early on that music was his language. Growing up in Frankfurt, Germany, he witnessed the birth of techno live, and thoroughly immersed himself into its soundscape. An enthusiast of other genres as well, he played the guitar in rock bands, and produced electro pop for various projects. He built his own studio, which he transforms and reinvents time and time again. 

Since turning to Progressive House and Melodic Techno in 2018, he released several tracks and remixes on famous labels like Univack, Mango Alley, Steyoyoke Black, Parquet Recordings, Perspectives Digital, Freegrant Music, Beatfreak Recordings, on his own label Sunexplosion and many more. His releases hit the Beatport Charts on a regular basis. The energy and analogue vibes in Cary‘s tracks are palpable, as he always travels to the core essence of a sound, and brings emotions to the dancefloor.
