Though I know most of the words, I do not know the scene because of my naivete and am left with the feeling of a voyeur.  Which I don't mind at all.  :)

Was the year of changes, the time porn
was a hushed privilege, like weed in 2011.
My mother didn’t guess— or maybe 
she did— that an afternoon was spent
running several discs in the player amid
wonder, laughter and disgust vacuumed out 
of my chest. In the evening, she didn’t think—
or maybe she did— that the semi circular graphs 
in my maths notebook formed not for the axes, 
rather, against a craving for adventure, 
a guilty appetite for clarifications. At night, thinking 
of dad, she didn’t know— or maybe she did
— that I became a sheet-wetting infant again,
waking up every morning to confusion.
