Forever curious and explorative, Dominik Petzold is a wanderer between the worlds. His vast sphere of studies ranging from natural sciences to consciousness and spirituality are flowing together in complex and playful music.

His organically evolving tracks often incorporate handmade field recordings that carry very personal memories. They will take you on a transformative journey, both inwardly and through movement and dance. Though eclectic and rarely repetitive, his music is always centered around captivating melodies and a vibrant pulse. It is creating a wide-open space where matter and energy meld, where head and heart finally agree.

Hommage is the record label of Monkey Safari and Karl Friedrich. Founded in 2013, Hommage has been a platform for independent releases, with a focus on synergies between like-mined artists. 

The next Hommage release comes from Avidus, an up-and-coming duo from Kiel, Germany, consisting of Fritz Wagner and Marc Wolf. While Fritz was working on his own music, Marc was busy djing and throwing parties, inviting the likes of  me, Marcus Worgull, and Roman Flügel. At some point their paths crossed and Avidus was born. Expect to hear more from this exciting and talented new act on Hommage!

‘Revenge of the Whales’ with its symphonic deepness reflects the mystic, melodic sounds of whale songs - that are heard for miles in the ocean. As longtime part of their energetic Live Sets ‘Ruins’ brings out the quiter, deeper Part of their EP.

The two brothers from Halle, Monkey Safari, subjoin a mighty, propellant remix of ‘Revenge of the Whales’ that will certainly create a fire on the dancefloor.

Marino Canal has carved his own staple sound in the techno scene through a stream of solid releases. His productions are best described as organic, hypnotic and melancholic, so is his beautiful remix of ‘Ruins’.

The elements, the night fire, the sunrises, the rivers, the mountains, the wind, the plants, and the insects were a great inspiration to create this EP. @cedromusic dedicates these songs to the spirits that protect the Earth and guide us along the way.
He collected sounds from natural environments in Mexico and Central America, with collaborations with musicians who crossed his path and became very good friends. He expresses his gratitudl to JPool and Amaru, for the collaboration in "The Prophecy" that talks about the prophecy of the eagle and the condor that will unite Central America and the world. To LGHT, Elena Judith and Leohm for the collaboration in “Nocon Shawan Caibobo” which is an invocation to the spirits to come to heal our soul.

Los elementales, el fuego de noche, los amaneceres, los ríos, las montañas, el viento, las plantas, y los insectos fueron una gran inspiración para crear este EP. Como forma de agradecimiento dedico este EP a los espíritus que protegen a la Tierra y nos guian por el camino. 
El EP tiene sonidos recolectados de ambientes naturales de México y centroamérica, con colaboraciones de músicos que se fueron cruzando en mi camino y se convirtieron en muy buenos amigos. Agradezco mucho a JPool y Amaru, por la colaboración en “La profecía” que habla sobre la profecía del águila y el cóndor que unirá a centroamérica y el mundo.
