Having just released his long-awaited third studio album earlier this autumn, electronic outfit Ishi have now returned to unveil a new remix. Ishi is teaming up with Kraak & Smaak for a remix of Pro's & Con's; adding their distinctive sound; a blend of disco, funk, electronic and house.

Dutch producers, DJ’s and live act Kraak & Smaak have built up a jaw-dropping track record since their first EP dropped in the early 00s: five studio albums, four remix albums and an amazingly long string of singles and remixes (from Jamiroquai to Solomun) on labels such as Jalapeno Records, Exploited, Razor ’n Tape, Future Disco, Toolroom and Spinnin’. Their highly original and distinctive sound, consisting of a blend of disco, funk, electronic and house, has brought their dj sets and the live band to all corners of the world and on festivals such as Glastonbury, SXSW, Exit and Coachella. 

Ishi’s ability to successfully walk the line between an ambitious studio act and a multi-sensory live experience allows him to engage the audience in an uplifting celebration of life. His subtle undertones of inner exploration combine to create a concert experience that is unequivocally one-of-a-kind. Each night, Ishi intends to create an entirely unique environment of mysticism, awareness, love and acceptance. Adored by fans and critics alike, with praise everywhere from Run The Trap to the Dallas Observer, there is no denying that Ishi is an immersive experience that everyone should discover. 

Fans have been waiting eight long years for the new album 'Sweet Gold' which just dropped on Swedish Indie Label Icons Creating Evil Art, the home of Flora Cash, Summer Heart, and Glamour Hammer. It features the hit singles ‘Not My Girl’ and ‘Lo-Fi Love Affair’ and the album's focus track 'Pro's & Con's'. Following the successful release of the Yuksek remix of 'Not My Girl' (supported by the likes of A-Trak, Kiss FM, Ministry of Sound, Amazing Radio etc.) and a remix collaboration with the internationally acclaimed EDM-producer Oliver Nelson, and working with CAPYAC this summer for their  ‘Goody Goody (Capyac's Good Mix)’, Ishi has successfully proven that collaborating and releasing remixes works really well for his music.

We wrote 04:00AM SUPERNOVA HAZE at the end of august. It talks about flowers, gravity and oblivion...We started it at the beach and it’s certainly the only reason why we wanted a very very  cool vibe for that song.

Where we are in the story: Previously, Warren accepted the valuable old stone that Miss Taifu offered him to replace his money. It’s now 4am and it’s time to know more about that stone. Everyone goes to Hades‘s sister’s house, a weird psychic living in the woods who could probably help...But she probably won’t.

Rosa Ama is a studio collaboration between Berlin-based British vocalist David Harks and Belgian producer Vhyce.

Their multifaceted “Ethers” release features both a ‘Day Version’ and ‘Night Version’ of Rosa Ama’s song. The unique presentation is designed to complement the two different moods that embody the music. The Day Version is a slower more adult contemporary leaning single for listening during the day. And the Night Version is a faster more up-tempo single geared for DJs and dancing in the evening. Collaborative-duo Rosa Ama are back with their third single “Lost on the People” out April 29th via Casablanca Sunset Records.

"Lost on the People" is a house inspired synth-pop song featuring bright dreamy melodies, nostalgic piano chords, uptempo rhythm and retrospective lyricism influenced from social isolation. “With the social distancing and self-isolation taking place right now, it’s really quite a timely release,” states David. “Lost on the People is about spending time communicating with yourself, hence when the words got lost on the people,” he adds. 

Rosa Ama is a collaboration between Berlin-based British songwriter David Harks and Belgian composer Vicente Milioto da Palma aka Vhyce. The two formed Rosa Ama in 2019 as a studio-based production project that evokes the spirits of classic uplifting soulful house with a nod to contemporary disco, electronica and pop.

@rosaama is a collaboration between Berlin-based British songwriter @DavidHarks and Belgian producer @Vhyce. Following their brilliant previous singles 'Ethers' and 'Lost on the People' on @casablancasunset as well as the ‘Day Version’ of Oku which landed on Kitsune Records last July the duo have seen a huge amount of press support for their sublime songwriting and production skills. They are also building a passionate and vociferous fan base. 

Oku (Night Version) will continue this groundswell of love for Rosa Ama. David is in sublime form on vocals whilst Vhyce's effortlessly cool production led out by the ever so smooth and energetic pianos is right up there with his finest work. It's a track which easily walks the tightrope of both underground cool and commercial acceptance.
