The sound of Astrofever Radio stems from a broad musical palette, maintaining a wide spectrum and focusing on good music regardless of genres. Curated by Casablanca-born and based Producer, DJ, and label head Mouhcine Zouitina better known as @Polyswitch. Presenting emerging and established artists from Morocco and beyond via @Worldwide-fm. 

Operating out of Casablanca, Morocco, Astrofever Records is an artist-led Record label aiming to hone the city’s sound and serve as a forward-thinking imprint for like-minded artists.

*Guest Introduction:

After more than 10 years of experimenting in the studio, @kosh212 is one of the few upcoming Moroccan artists to catch attention on a global scale. Growing up in Casablanca, it’s during his years spent in the U.S. that his interest in early acid tracks and Detroit techno truly matured.

Whether playing DJ sets or performing live, Kosh knows how to subtly jump through different genres. Versatility is in fact often said to be his trademark. His music delicately blends nasty acid basslines, frenetic breaks, and electro beats, as well as warm infused pads and fast-paced techno.

After moving back to Casablanca in 2016, Kosh has been actively involved with the label @csvoyager alongside his longtime friends and music partners @drissbennis aka OCB and Jonas Bengio aka @vviewtifuljoe. In 2021, Kosh started his own self-releasing label called @convergencerec

electrocaïne kicks off its podcast first release of 2022, sessïons, with Nikitch & Mart One, showcasing a multi-genre mix inspired by their latest collaborative effort, Jowa. The dynamic duo have joined forces once again, after 8 years since their last release ushering in a wave of new music. Combining their experiences over their years spent apart, and their particular skills, the new EP samples an array of eclectic sounds encompassing African influences, hip-hop and jazz which is being released on Cascade Records.

Longtime friends, Nikitch and Mart One have amassed a certain level of knowledge and tools over the years, bringing the best out of each other's expertise. Nikitch’s musical character is guided by his background in classical music, fused with contemporary electronic synths. He is an enthusiastic collaborator with the likes of Gilles Peterson and Laurent Garnier in his repertoire,  just to name a few. Meanwhile, ex Scratch Bandit Crew member Mart One brings a distinct perspective to his music with his wax deejaying skills and passion for turntables.

" Birds of Love came together interestingly. The original sample features a guitar lick that felt romantic, nostalgic, and easy - there was no rush or high energy to the sound, and it had a relaxing and languid feel - really lush. Thanks to the vocals from Violet Indigo, the track retained it’s romantic edge, but morphed into an anthem for lovers. It’s all about unity, growth and looking after each other. Things are hard right now, but it can be a lot easier when you have someone in your corner looking out for you."
