I Knew My Day Would Come

Born in northern Minnesota in a little town called Ada. I lived in even a smaller town, Hendrum, about 300 people. However, I grew up on a farm around 5 miles from town. The area is a farming community, what they call the "Red River Valley" and is one of the richest farm areas ever. It is on the bottom of what used to, a very long time ago, Lake Agassiz, so, the land is very rich. I went into the Army and never really returned to that area. I currently live in Red Wing Minnesota, home of the famous  Red Wing Shoe Company. There are many other great companies here as well, and, of courste, the Mississippi River run thru town as well. Stop in for a visit if you are in the area and see what the area and town are all about.
