Influential house and techno titan wAFF is branching out with his own new label, Nature. As well as donating a portion of profits to animal charities, the label will become a platform for music that in some ways heals us, just like nature itself. The innovative DJ and producer kicks it off with his own new three tracker, Colours. 

You name it, wAFF has done it. The UK artist has headlined every major club and festival in the world, has released for labels like Cocoon, Hot Creations, Desolat and Moon Harbour Recordings and always brings his own flavours every time he steps out. It is now almost a decade since he broke through, so is the perfect time to start his own imprint. 

Says wAFF, "There’s so much that’s happened over the past two years that I really wanted to create a platform of expression and creativity that would be meaningful not just for me but for everyone. I hope the label will be something that brings us back down to earth, to ground us. Nature is so important to me so I wanted something that felt like an extension of myself and what I care about so much. Nature, provides all life with what we need, nature heals us and that’s something I like to think of with this label. By providing the best quality of music for everyone, it can help with healing." 

The stylish Colours is a taught, driving house track with slinky hi hats and rubbery drums. The monstrous bassline bobbles away down low and is sure to lock in any crowd. Django is another inventive groove, with lush claps and a knotted bassline that drives the track along beneath infectious percussion and silky smooth synths. Switchin is the most raw of the lot with its busy leads, razor sharp tech house drums and glitchy effects. Add in some turbocharged chords and you have a sleazy and standout banger. 

These are three vital tunes that start off this label in fantastic fashion.

It has been a massive 18 months for DJ S.K.T's new label Stashed Music. After launching in 2017, Stashed has consistently delivered great House music, from artists such as Franky Wah, DONT BLINK, Rich Wakley, Bang Tidy, and of course DJ S.K.T.

To celebrate their landmark 50th release, label boss DJ S.K.T delivers a very special single in the form of 'Ballers'. Seb Zito is no stranger to delivering club-ready hits. He brings his fire to Hot Creations this March, marking his inaugural release on the label. 

“I wanted to incorporate the tech elements from the Fuse sound and combine it with the acid style of Hot Creations, along with little snippets of vocals from my garage influences. I’ve followed Jamie since the early days of Kubicle so it’s an honour to be releasing on his label.” - Seb Zito 

Nut In Your Mouth instantly commands attention with an infectious vocal hook that ripples around the pounding bassline. Flow is a frenetic offering with a chaotic flow and elements of acid that tightly coil together before unfurling into a rich, unadulterated bass conjuring up a sort of rhythmic voodoo. The EP rounds off with Put Your Phones Down feat. Woodzy. The track utilises a burgeoning synth that grows steadily as a hypnotic vocal line bleeds an air of mysticism into it before Woodzy calls us to put our phones down and get up. 

Seb Zito has firmly established himself as a key player on the house and techno scene. One of the core residents of London party starters Fuse, Zito has an unwavering ability to connect with the crowd and regularly plays at some of the world’s most renowned clubs. He runs his own highly-praised imprints Seven Dials and F&Z as well as releasing a slew of well-received EPs on Fuse, Infuse, Play It Say It, Edible, Four Thirty Two, ORIGINS, Rawax & Kaos Theory. 2020 is set to be a seminal year for Seb with plans to grow Seven Dials as a brand and the release of his debut album.

2020 sees Tamango Records deliver its first VA release ever - a mighty 13 track compilation which perfectly showcases all the facets of the sound that represents the label perfectly.

Opening with head-honcho Yaya's collaboration with a long-time friend of the label Alex Ground, the compilation branches out between rolling fat beats and gorgeous vocal hooks, including tracks by Jamahr, Toman, Nacho Bolognani, Rossi, Santé & The Willers Brothers, Luuk Van Dijk and many more, giving life to a release that mixes renowned and upcoming artists. 

Destined to be a mainstay in DJ sets for the foreseeable future, expect to hear Tamango Shots Vol. 1 throughout the summer and beyond.

Casey Spillman’s sound perfectly recreates a combination of sounds the city is renowned for. His reputation in London has spread to an international level in recent years, with sought after music and no nonsense antics from behind the booth. There’s no messing about with his sound, which saw him join the Fuse camp in 2019. From a studio perspective or on a dancefloor, and only the tip of the iceberg has been visible thus far.
