"The BOOST TAPE series is a collective project organized by the moderators of r/trap. Celebrating the variety of talent in this music community, the BOOST TAPE series showcases the boundary-pushing sounds of the modern trap and bass movement. The songs you hear on this compilation are sourced from both the icons of the trap / electronic scene as well as submissions from rising stars in our community. Good innovative music is what’s important to us; whether you’re a main stage artist or a bedroom DJ, we’re here to salute creativity in the genre that brought us together.

We also seek to drive change at a larger level. All proceeds from the BOOST TAPE series are donated to progressive causes in order to uplift voices that must be heard. In 2020, our June release of BOOST TAPE 01 raised over $10,000 for the Movement For Black Lives. With BOOST TAPE 02, we will continue to partner with this crucial organization to help support racial justice initiatives and equality for all Black people, and look to the future for new opportunities to push for social justice and boost communities everywhere."

Setting the melodic beauty of the track to the side, the vocal sample was screaming to be flipped into a club ready, surprise, heavy weapon of a track.

After kicking off the year with a solid VIP + DJ Sliink remix of his track LVE ME LVE U, Royo is back at it without further ado with a new, previously unreleased single. Entitled "Euphoria", the song is, of course, released on Club South, the label that the Houston-based producer has been actively leading since 2024.
The track follows in the footsteps of Royo's productions since the launch of Club South. After Know Me, LVE ME LVE U, and the highlights of B-Sides Vol. 1 and The Lost Tapes, the Texan musician is gradually establishing his distinctive style, which is characteristic of the evolution of his project.
Euphoria is built around solid club sounds: vocal samples and hi-hats typical of the Baltimore Club, boundless Amen Breaks, not to mention the rhythmic energy of Jersey Club and Jungle. The percussive, definitively club-ready elements nevertheless give pride of place to the melody and nostalgic moods that often inhabit Royo's southern productions (vocals, pads), as is once again the case on Euphoria. At just over 2 min 30, with its precise whirring bass and Timbaland-ish pitch vocals, Euphoria is a concise track teeming with subtleties. 
Royo's single "Euphoria" is released 2/28/25 on Club South.

We are so grateful to have a track from AMEN The Producer @amen-producer in our catalogue!!! So many of his tunes made their ways in our DJ sets for the last 3-4 years. The producer, artist and DJ from the Bronx NY handles a wide range of styles from trap and hip-hop, house, Jersey inspired club to his own booming strand of footwork. He is also a member of the terrific Papi Squad collective frequently co-creating with them.
The 'DJ Trak' is a hard Jersey Club assault stripped down to its core elements allowing one enormous bass kick to take the entire room at times. AMEN’s distinctive craft shine through the entire trak with skippy hip-hop vocal edits, extra large bass pounding kicks, echoing chants, percussive tones and constant rhythm variations.
